TV show Portrait Of Eddie's Father
TV show Gunsmoke
Taxi Driver

But honestly, I like her in all her adult roles. She's a National Treasure. As much as I like good-lookers like Diane Lane and Ellen Barkin, Jodie seems a cut above. Don't know why, but she seems more committed and versatile.

You forgot to mention Mayberry RFD!

2. Taxi Driver

Silence of the lambs is the only movie I recall of hers that i watched over and over again. It's a brilliant movie. Well When I was younger I think i was pretty obsessed with Panic Room..I havent watched it as much being older now. She was really good in The Brave One...Again not the type of movie I have found myself watching over n over.

Difficult choice.

I won't pick a top three, but think she is great in
* Contact (obvious choice)
* Inside Man (not so obvious) because it is a different type of role. She pulls off being sexy, while she is beautiful she's not sexy.
* Maverick I had no idea she could do comedy that well.

I kept seeing her picture for the Flight Plan movie. I don't know if she's had work done, but it's not a bad photo. Maybe she lost a lot of weight? Not that she would have needed to. Anyway, I'm getting the feeling it's not one of her better ones.

Flightplan is a fun movie actually.

There were two plane thrillers that came out right around this time--Red Eye and Flightplan--and I enjoyed both and would recommend both.

And then if you enjoy those, I'll add Non-Stop with Liam Neeson.

The Silence of the Lambs
The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane or maybe Inside Man

I'm not the biggest fan and I never understood the reaction to her Taxi Driver performance.

Glad someone mentioned The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane. Really like that movie and performance by Foster.

reply

Does she ever mention the film? I liked it as a kid. Felt bad for the hamster though. Too bad, there was never a sequel, the film leaves you hanging.
