You thought he was cute? Have you had these feelings for men before?

reply

Look who's talking. I'd be quiet here Melton.

reply

Just for Eddie. Now, no way.

reply

you expect anyone to believe that?

reply

I don't give a shit what anyone believes. Unlike you.

Chandler was a better looking John Connor.

HI, I'M CHANDLER. I MAKE JOKES WHEN I AM UNCOMFORTABLE.šŸ™‚

reply

Time is a bitch.

reply

Growing old is not for pussies.

Who was the actress that said that? I have to Google it

reply

I know Bette Davies is supposed to have said, ā€œOld age is not for Sissiesā€.

reply

Yes that was it. I guess I sauced her quote up a bit

I've always thought that Betty White said that. I learned something new today!

reply

Heroin, cocaine and alcohol hardly help matters. This guy had a few bad habits.

reply

That would explain it.

reply

Lack of talent was the worst one.

reply

Beating on romantic partners and endangering your son seems pretty bad to me as well.
This guy was quite a mess!

He is alleged to be sober and reasonable now, which is nice to hear.

reply

If he worked out and lost weight he wouldn't look so bad.

reply

He was a good looking kid with a pretty messed up upbringing and drug & alcohol issues destroyed his appearance. I don't think he has much of an acting career these days.

reply

He never was. And he was one of the worst parts of the overrated T2.

reply

He was a non-actor (literally some kid off the street that one of the casting people happened to stumble upon while on a lunch break) who was highly annoying and ruined the movie for me. Also, even though I liked Linda Hamilton in T1, she was playing a completely different character in T2 and she was annoying too, though Furlong with his non-acting, cracking voice, punchable face, and lesbian haircut was even more annoying.

reply

Absolutely! I hated both of them.

No clue why people see T2 as some sci-fi masterpiece.

reply

My theory is that most of the biggest fans of T2 (especially the ones who think it was better than T1, which is utterly absurd) are younger than Edward Furlong and viewed him as a "cool older kid" when they first saw the movie, and that first impression has permanently stuck with them.

I was 16 (closer to 17 than to 16) when T2 was released (I saw it on opening weekend), and 13-year-old Furlong immediately annoyed me; the way he looked, the way he talked, his attitude, and his lack of acting ability. And I couldn't see that little shithead growing up to be anything like the John Connor we heard about in T1.

reply

Could be.

Personally I enjoyed T3 so much more.

reply

I like T3 better too, but T1 is my favorite.

reply

Mine too.

reply

I browse all the upcoming film conventions, and I recently saw heā€™s going to be a guest at one in a few months.

reply

Itā€™s probably his only source of income these days.

That, and bartending at some male strip club.

reply

The schadenfraude is strong with this one.

reply

No, I donā€™t remember him being cute in T2, just a bit whiny and annoying.

Also, he looks like any regular Joe now, which is pretty common with child stars who havenā€™t had much of a presence in adult life. Itā€™s always a bit odd seeing them all grown up when you remember them as a child. I wouldnā€™t say heā€™s repulsive or anything, just ordinary looking.
