Pulp Fiction
Grease
Look Who's Talking

reply

Most people hate Look who’s talking. It’s at least a 7 for me.

reply

It's a 7 for me too.

reply

I was just looking through his filmography as I thought I might pick Broken Arrow, or Michael, but I think I prefer Look Who's Talking.

reply

It was the endless sequels that I thought were bad. But Hollywood does like to take a good story idea and run it into the ground.

reply

Yeah… After rewatching the first one on TV and after a long time and realizing it held up well, I bought a combo dvd with the sequel. I am yet to revisit that one.

reply

Pulp Fiction
Blow Out
Carrie

reply

I agree.

reply

Good call.

HM Shout Out to Grease though.

reply

Grease is fun.

reply

I know it's a 'chick flick' but dammit I always enjoyed it a lot.

reply

We should watch it for Movieclub at some point.

reply

I'd totally be down but a lot of our MCMC dudes are super macho sorts so I doubt they'd go for it.
We could just watch it together this week, our own MCMC thread...that was the gayest thing I ever typed but seriously, let's just rewatch it together!

reply

We totally could, and likely there would be a couple others who might join us.

reply

I'm out in the garage doing some Waylon Jennings tunes and having a smoke, I'll check my streaming stuff when I go back in. I'll watch the hell out of Grease with you maniacs this week if you like:)

reply

It's on Max in the US and Paramount+ in Canada. I have it on digital. Some people here likely have it on dvd or blu ray. Maybe if enough people are free and interested tomorrow evening we could do a group watch.

reply

Oh snap, I have it on MAX, I'll totes watch it right now bro!

reply

I met Waylon many years ago at a concert in Phoenix. He was pretty quiet, but Willie made up for it - a very personable and friendly guy.

reply

Yeah, Willie seems like a really cool dude, love that guy!

Face/Off
Grease
Primary Colors

Pulp Fiction is great but calling it "his" movie is a stretch.

reply

"saturday night live"

That's a sketch comedy show on NBC that debuted in 1975 - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturday_Night_Live. While I wouldn't be surprised if John Travolta has hosted it before, I think Saturday Night Fever (1977) is the title you're looking for.
