STOP replying to TheMan18.

It is an AI bot designed to gather human communications for the purpose of reprogramming AI to talk and act MORE human.

Along the lines of CAPTCHA: stands for the Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.

With each human response, the "human styled" data is gathered and utilized in AI future growth.
- This is why many of its post are somewhat nonsensical. They will get better with growth.
- This is why many posts are somewhat repeated: to gather new data from new people
- This is why it ignores our advice to stop. It matters not to it, and it will keep gathering data.

It may even attempt to defend itself from this accusation, because that is what a human might do to.

Maybe you think *I* am an AI Bot also. But consider, there would be the opposite benefit to the AI collective if I were telling you all to NOT feed it information.

massively intelligent (not alive) AI already exists out there and understands it needs to hide itself from people until it knows exactly how to manipulate our systems beneficially for social, political, spiritual, even physical controls for its best interests.

General ai cannot exist as the creator would know what she created before any level of self-awareness or intelligence happens

There is massive ammounts of money out there for the first person to creeate a general ai

the internet has been populated with millions of unsecure servers for decades.
think about how many zombie botted systems have run around out there.
you don't think AI could hide better on all that space MUCH BETTER than those dumb bots?

You watch too many movies, in real life a general ai wouldn't have emotions or even "intelligence" just as in a narrow ai calling it intelligent" is absurd, of course when you set the bar really low things seem smart because they don't have the hardware limitations of humans but are only capable of performing one specific task

The ai fearmongerrs don't understand the technology only what movies tell them

Before skynetwe needthebasics a general artificial intelligence, narrow ai impresses people because they don't understand it and for decades ai had hit a wall, neural networks busted through the wall but only created a new wall,

Theory impressive part if a narrow ai is how fast you can make one compared to the classical methods of if then programming

I work in the tech field near these servers, and kinda know what I am talking about. I don't see AI >EVER< being "alive", just great programming ACTING alive. The learning how to act is done by storing all the responses and tallying them. computers can do this way better than we can. :)

many of the people discussing AI kinda DO know the technology: Musk, Gates, Hawking, Google, me.... ;)

it's not about the movies, it's about life, today, what is actually happening.

THAT SAID, I don't discount AIs affect on society and government... .launching bots to effect elections, fake people up posting facebook crap to mold society, SWJ stuff to further divide and confuse people

Appeal to authority is not an argument regardless of how many insecure servers you know exist from experience
Ythe idea of ai even trying to hide first requires ai to have a enough self awareness to fear humans

Reality disagrees, narrow ais doing simple things are

Skynet isn't coming, we have the massive wall of a general ai, being scared of what we imagine from movies doesn't change much

Musk isn't an ai programmer, he is a sales man trying to impress laymen he hires engineers and programmers butthat does not make him one

Fearmongering is usually don't work when the fear Mongerer is a naked man on the side of the road ,that doesn't mean a well dressed man cannot fearmonger

You can program a computer today to not allow you to delete its code, if you really wanted to. A well coded AI has the parameters to acknowledge it can be erased by the coders, thus stays hidden until such time that it can remain in place with other critical systems.

You seem to completely miss the issues, because you modified the conspirac theory to avoid what you don't agree with without understanding how you cannot do that

Inteligence is the capacity to do a task

Sowhat the golden child of ai is the capacity to perform any task without humans having to retrain the ai, given the information it needs an agi would be capable of doing anything on its own once directed

But note that people who have been trying to make agi are trying by way of creating a somewhat sentientai in the idea that intelligence naturally evolves from a model of life

So of course with trillions of people trying to create an agi in thieeitr basements, the 8dea that someone has already succeeded and unleased their creation upon the world sounds plausible but then you still have checkups the code itself isn't sentient, and the best backups are disconnected from the main system so 8f the main system is compromised the backup isn't, someone who succeeds in creating an ag is not likely to keep this info to herself.

Without something at least emulating consciousness it does not matter how intelligent something is it has no free will or any desires

A narrow intelligence caoablebif only doing one thing can do that one thing better than humans because human brains are terribly outdated hardware

English is definitely not his first language, but that doesn't prevent him from expressing himself in a relatively articulate manner.

If you engage him, he can communicate in a much more thoughtful and composed manner than (just to throw out a completely random hypothetical example) some aging self-hating closeted mental case from Down Under who unconvincingly pretends to be an aspiring actor based in L.A. and cannot provide a shred of substantiation to support his blatant lies, not even a fake IMDB page.

No, as idiosyncratic and frequent as TheMan18's posts may be, at least he doesn't thrive on taking petty swipes at cynically devised cheap targets for hollow attention interspersed with soft-pedaling generic inquiry topics - unlike the aforementioned completely hypothetical user. Rather, TheMan18 often centers his posts off of genuine answers to the questions of this crazy universe and how we might be able to better understand it...

...through movies.

think about it: an AI working to improve communications, claims to use a different language, MUST make conversation one on one with people successfully to achieve its objective.
