Best song to get you pumped up!
Watched Rocky 2 yesterday, and this song is a classic for a reason.

This is the first track of my workout mix. I always play this when I enter the gym. It totally works.
shareCompletely agree! It's the first song that instantly came to mind when I saw the thread header. I worked at a huge, university sports complex when it became popular and one of my perks was free use of the facilities, e.g., the weight room, the lane pool in the natatorium, the quarter mile track encircling the football field. It always kept me psyched up, motivated.
shareI always train in complete silence as far as music goes. The only exception is if I'm doing a long stint on the rower. But for weights or bodyweight circuits, silence.
share#1 & #3 are my favorite Rocky movies.
My favorite line of dialogue in #3 is where Mick tells Rocky, trying to dissuade him from fighting Clubber Lang, "He ain't a fighter...he's a wreckin' machine!"
Anything by The Ramones, The Sex Pistols or The Misfits pumps me up for yard work. Iron Maiden and Guns And Roses also.
Right now I’m chilling with some classic Motown…A lazy Sunday afternoon and no place to dash off to😎

While the videos are sorta fun to watch, I often think it detracts from the sublimity of the song itself.
So stand up, turn up the volume, close your eyes, and ... dance! That's pretty pumped up !
XTC in da house! That's a great song.
