Most UNIQUE Movie You've Seen?

And one that's great, a favorite of yours... Most of the unique movies I'm thinking of are either shitty, or just "good".

"Buffalo '66" is mine.

No fair!!! That was my pick.

Have you seen "Sult" (Hunger)? It's very unique. "Fist in the Pocket" (Italian).
"They Shoot Horses Don't They?" is on YouTube.

reply

I have seen “They Shoot Horses Don't They?” But I’m not the biggest fan. The other 2 I have not seen.

Sult is a character study on a destitute writer who tries to carry on. I gave it an 8/10, but would recommend this more than a lot of American classics or the more standard polished movies that I'd rate a 9/10

"Fist in the Pocket" is a realistic domestic horror movie. I saw all the movies multiple times and still love them.

Oh man, me too, that made me absolutely SICK! I think without that bit I would have enjoyed the film.

I remember finding "Sin City" very unique, but I don't consider it a favorite.
"The Science of Sleep" and "Pan's Labyrinth" (both from 2006) are also worth a mention.

reply

Yes I thought the concept of Sin City was very unique and very interesting, and same, it’s not a favourite by any means.

magic (1978)

Dogtooth (2009)

reply

That was unique... "The Castle of Purity" is kinda similar (Spanish movie from the early 70s)

reply

Yes, very unique and a little hard core porn snuck in.

reply

I really liked Dogtooth
