Only every day. I've forgotten way more movies than I remember.
shareBut we always remember the good/great ones!! And the bad ones too, for that matter. It's the middle of the road ones that are very forgettable. But I don't stop to consider it (except for this moment). I'm just expounding on why movies can be forgettable.

I have seen a few of your posts. You seem to enjoy science fiction and games of that nature.
Can you honestly say that you do not remember films that you enjoy after seeing them? You honestly no longer remember something that you liked???
I find that incredibly hard to understand.
I love many films and books that have touched me in so many ways. I never forget the impact and impression they have had on me.

Yes,MissMargo,there is a misunderstanding here.I am a big fan of Milla and i remember ever single scene from resident evil franchise and from the other movies that she played.I was talking about the other titlesπ

shareMila, which I am not familiar, is obviously something that interests you. You are a fan. I have no doubt that you remember everything about it. that helps.
I have so many favorite movies of all genres. I remember most of them. I associate many of them with actors and actresses who have starred in them. I also remember the stories. I love Comedies, Drama, Mystery, Horror..... Documentaries are big on my list. I love history. If I had to choose one, I would choose Horror. to me, it's fun.
Science Fiction? I have only a handful of favorites. It's mostly a few TV shows. Nothing recent.

Memorable
Yea. Since I watch a fair bit of old movies, most of them on the cheap side are extremely forgettable. There is no way im gonna remember the plot of Spaceflight IC-1, but I really don't care because that was a bad movie. If I do forget details of a movie I loved, ill watch it again to experience the joy I had on my first watch. So maybe forgetting things about a film isnt so bad.

Not just films, but TV series, too. I'm into British detective series - many older ones such as Inspector Morse. They're so well done that many times when I re-watch them periodically I find myself forgetting who the murderer was.

shareThe worst thing about the series that have a continuous storyline is that when the new season starts, I realize that I've forgotten half of the things from previous season. So, I have to rewatch to be able to follow the story.

Did you ever watch any of the Lord Peter Wimsey series on PBS? I loved them and the late, great Ian Carmichael who played Lord Peter.
