Though it's not a rival for JP, It looks promising. Do Dwarves use elevators inside their mines? I answered this question in a similar post:- https://moviechat.org/tt7631058/The-Lord-of-the-Rings-The-Rings-of-Power/630f94897d161071cc66e47d/Please-dont-tell-me-theres-going-to-be-homo-hobbits-gay-elves-and-same-sex-married-couples-in-this-show?reply=632f8996b08c5c0f139d7360 Is there a gay storyline in this? Of course, there will be, "Amazon Prime Video" did it to "The Wheel of Time" (and ruined it). I believe the show creators are planning to include it in the upcoming seasons (if there are any). They already received many negative reviews, dislikes, and criticisms for this season because of their "Woke Agenda". They will not risk upsetting more Tolkien fans by including unnecessary gay stories in the S1. I didn't know about this, thank you, I am a fan of Youtubers and influencers who defend Tolkien's legacy. According to Nerdotic, they're planning to https://youtu.be/c2xwrqVn_SI?t=288 https://youtu.be/XIXsrEn144I?t=786 https://youtu.be/IIT2KSbDIps?t=333 Actually, there is a video where Nerdotic speaks about a (leak) which comes from one of the employees in the show. The employee mentioned that there will be an LGBT story in the show besides some nudity and sex scenes. There are even articles about "transgender realities in the Lord of the Rings" that have been written by the show supporters:- https://youtu.be/IHViW_c6WDY?t=560 https://youtu.be/2EuzthEzPbs?t=39 Streaming services have accelerated during COVID-19. Every service (Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, HBO Max, Hulu, Disney+,...etc) wants to dominate the market, in order to do that, they went into a buying frenzy to get licenses as many as they could, their plan is: don't waste time on story adaption, directing, or acting performance, just film it, then broadcast it, and if the consumers hate it (most likely) then shelve it and looks for another franchise to destroy. They already did this with "Wheel of time", "Batgirl", "The Shannara Chronicles", "Resident Evil", "She-Hulk", "Thor" ... etc It is up to us, we real fans, to boycott their products until they respect us. Even if the Elves become rappers and the Dwarves play rock 'n' roll, Amazon Prime doesn't care. The goal of most streaming services is to rob viewers' pockets. Since they created their own version of Galadriel, Elrond, Tar-Míriel, Wizards/Maiar, Hobbits (I meant Harfoots), Dwarves, Elves, and the whole mythology and lore of Tolkien, why didn't they create their own version of Balrog? If Amazon wanted to know what the viewers think, then why didn't it check the like and dislike count ratio in each trailer and teaser it released on Youtube? It's too late, it will be hard for the production team to find woodlands and grasslands that can be used as shooting locations like the ones in Australia and NZ. The UK and Europe are experiencing the deadliest heatwaves and the worst drought ever occurred in the last decade. Is Peter Jackson a racist, there is no diversity in his adaptation films, do you consider a director (e.g Ralph Bakshi, Arthur Rankin Jr., and Jules Bass) who adopted Tolkien's work but didn't "woke" it, as a racist person?
