The ($1 Billion Budget) TV Show Couldn't Afford A Decent Artist To Design A Balrog

They copied 90% of the John Howe artwork :

I know that Amazon has moved production from New Zealand to the UK for financial reasons, but hiring an illustrator should be affordable for a corporation that ranked as richest company in the world.

There are even professional artists (individuals and groups) who make creative work and their products are not expensive. Here are examples:-

I get what you are saying, and like orcs theres probably variance in balrog appearance. but I feel like its more to not stir the pot (ironic given what they are doing in other realms). so anyone who sees it deep in their memory is like "yess thats a balrog!! I remember that!" not "hey why does the balrog look so weird and different."

we've only seen one before

Since they created their own version of Galadriel, Elrond, Tar-Míriel, Wizards/Maiar, Hobbits (I meant Harfoots), Dwarves, Elves, and the whole mythology and lore of Tolkien, why didn't they create their own version of Balrog?

idk cant answer for them!

Production in the UK is cheaper than NZ? That's a shock.
