Is there a gay storyline in this?

They added a lot of racial and gender diversity to live up to the expectations of the times we live in. Will this extend to homosexual representation as well or is that somehow "going too far"?

Of course, there will be, "Amazon Prime Video" did it to "The Wheel of Time" (and ruined it).
I believe the show creators are planning to include it in the upcoming seasons (if there are any). They already received many negative reviews, dislikes, and criticisms for this season because of their "Woke Agenda". They will not risk upsetting more Tolkien fans by including unnecessary gay stories in the S1.

Lesbians are definitely gay , but do they trigger the anti-woke warriors as much ?

I could see Sauron taking Galadriel’s rejection hard which leads him to switch teams and start a torrid affair with Adar.
