Moronic pro-life propaganda

reply

It's even worse than that trendy indie movie that won all those awards, Juno.

reply

Did you see it?

(I have no horse in this race, btw, just wondering if you're trashing something you haven't actually seen)

reply

Most fetuses are snuffed out in the first two months of pregnancy. Late term abortion is rare and nearly always medical.

reply

yep......or at least that is what they want people to believe.
The movie is about a person on the inside that found out how much people were being deceived an d lied to.
It seems that once you are a part of the organization and find out some of the more gory details, you are not free to leave and tell what is actually happening.

reply

Be very cautious of anyone that starts their argument with...
That's what they want you to believe๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ‘

reply

Did you see the movie?

reply

Oh f*** no๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

reply

Then there is nothing to discuss.

Be very cautious of anyone who feels the need to use a real or simulated profanity to answer a simple question.

reply

Why? I was being honest๐Ÿ‘

As far as a discussion...I never sought one๐Ÿ˜‰

reply

I agree

reply

Speaking of moronic, what could be more moronic than a one word comment form someone who professes to be a purveyor of truth.

Any movie that has to use a blurb in its advertising from major nutjob Glenn Beck you know is going to be awful, as ALL these evangelical movies always are. They're so bad they aren't even funny to watch (and I tried to watch "God's Not Dead" as a comedy). America sometimes appears to be teetering on the brink of fullblown fascism. Evangelical Christianity combined with Zionism as well as the pseudo-left identity politics crowd are, these days, the likeliest segments of the population from which a true fascism could potentially arise. Garbage propaganda movies like Unplanned preach only to the already-converted but are disturbing in their implications

reply

Yes it makes the U.S seem like a theocracy from the outside. Don't worry though, it is not actually the case. Big secular corporations are more in control of the U.S than big religious entities. Still the Christian population is yappy.

reply

Yeah, LIEberal fascism.

reply

While other forms of prejudice are off limits, it is always open season on Christianity here.

I DO agree than Glen beck is a nutjob. I guess that is the only common ground we have here.

reply

I'm not a Christian by any stretch but even i notice that. That said It's hardly just prejudice against christianity that I've noticed.

reply

I agree with that. It is too often those who harbor the most prejudice that seem to define specific certain protected groups that are off limits to anything even so much as a harsh word.

I have no apologies for being a Christian. I am not a person to force my beliefs down anyone's throat, unlike those who wish to force their beliefs down mine.

reply

The one thing that gives me pause is that it's the same writers as God's Not Dead, which was an abysmal movie....

reply

Nothing like open minded, free speech types who are ok, with there being two sides of issues.
Propaganda! Don't see it!!!. There is only ONE approved of stance you are allowed to share! Don't even bother hearing arguments from both sides.

I bet you'd ban the film if you could.
You gave ZERO evidence or points as to what you didn't like about the film. You didn't state anything you disagreed with and why.
Just a blanket stance of don't even see the film.

I'm going to guess you probably didn't even see it, you are just some political sheep out to silence all points of view you don't agree with.

Your comment is worthless.

Baby murder as a form of birth control is wrong.

I am not pro-life.

reply

You are not pro-life. What does that even mean. People keep acting like there just 2 sides to this topic. There are many sides.

Some want unlimited abortion. If you want to kill the baby 2 hours before you go into labor in the 9th month, they are for it. A woman can do it at any time, no matter what.

Some think it is permissible, but only up to a certain point. Maybe only in the first trimester, maybe 4ths. They recognize at some point it goes from being cells to being a real baby and they aren't ok with abortions after a certain point.

Some are against it but make exceptions if the woman was raped for example.

Some are against every form. Even if it is the 3rd week. Even if the woman was raped.

There are lots of sides to this.

People keep treating it like it is a binary choice.

reply

Pro-Life is an ideology.

Pro-Choice is an ideology.

I am not on either of these "sides".

reply

Democrats have not been pro-choice for years. Not since 1984. Democrats are pro abortion!

Democrats believe abortion right up until birth. Some think you should be able to kill the baby after it is born.

Democrats think tax payers should pay for abortions and they think tax dollars should pay for the clinics that provide abortions.

These are pro abortion positions.

I'm not a religious person at all but defending and protecting innocent life is more admirable than trying to destroy that life.
