Was season one the only good season.

Season 2 became such a teen soap, i stopped caring and others told me said that season 3 wasn't that good.

Season 1 is still the best because it’s focus was just on Daniel and Johnny. Now the show is all over the place. Don’t get me wrong I love seeing John Kreese and Terry Silver back but it just seems like too much going on at once. It’s still a fun show watch if you don’t take too seriously.

Teen soap? Obvious troll is obvious. Its not anywhere close to a "teen soap" Seasons 3 and 4 is great.

reply

Of course it is.
Sam dating the asian guy, then she is now dating the mexican guy while having feelings for Robbie. Yawn.

reply

That's not "soap". There can be romance storylines without being a soap drama. Try getting out more.

Season one was without a doubt the best of the lot. I didn't really like season 2. It focused too much on the kids, and their school lives. Season three was a step up from season two as it got back to the rivalry between the two dojos. Season four was good in places, but the last few episodes felt disjointed. Two new female characters were shoehorned in (most likely by Netflix) one is an annoying girl who said something like 'I self identify, so you can't call me she/he/it or anything." It didn't help her case that she was introduced debating a boy (cause you know, girl power) and completely destroyed him in typical angry SJW style (Note to the film making world- angry doesn't make you strong and independent- it just makes you into an unlikable, angry, asshole). The other girl wasn't as annoying, but she's another one who's woke to the tenth power. Neither character had any development, hardly any screen time, and were both pointless additions to the show. I hope that they are gone by next season. If not, I'm going to pass on season 5 if, and when it becomes woke. Terry Silver wasn't good until the very end, and then damn was he evil. Thomas Ian Griffith is masterful at getting you to like him, being sincere about changing, and then wham! Evil as can be. The end tournament was a bit odd. There were a lot of different karate dojos participating, but only Cobra Kai, Eagle Fang, and Miyagi do were introduced, and shown. The fighting itself was good, but (as is apparent with modern film making) the scenes were all quick cuts- which is a shame. All of the actors and actresses in the film obviously spent a lot of time training, and it would have been nice to see some extra long scenes of them fighting instead of jumpy quick cuts. Also, Carrie Underwood came out and sang "Moment of truth" from the original film, and during the fight scenes it kept cutting back to her singing- which was VERY ANNOYING! That's my take on season four.

Yup. Pretty much nailed it.

One of the "new" female characters, Piper, appeared in season 1. The other new female character, Devon, didn't come across as a tough girl at all in fact when she tried to act tough she came across as adorable. I never believed she had a chance against Sam, Tori, or even Piper.

I understand not wanting the show going woke but it is belivable that teenagers would make claims like being genderfluid, asexual, and not believing in pronouns because they are concerned about how their peers view them.

reply

No, all the seasons are good.

reply

They are all the same shit. Enjoyable show and I'm glad everyone is still alive to reprise their roles. Except for Myagi

reply

All of the seasons had their good moments.

The nostalgia wave is wearing thin. Are they just going to keep bringing people back from the films? I think the only one we really cared about was Shue. It has also become predictable.

I still enjoyed Season 4 but it wasn't as much fun. Shame they had to bring that idiot StinkRay back.

Season one was the only really, really good season.
