Not at all like Die Hard

Just kidding it’s exactly the same. Rock gotta stop making movies

reply

The man just needs to stop making one every three months. Take five, dude, you earned it.

reply

Yeah he is in Nicolas Cage territory.

reply

he was right the first time, nothing at all like Die Hard. Die Hard was plausible and well written.

Have a short review of this movie if anyone is interested. If you feel there is something I could be doing better, I would definitely love to hear it. Review here - https://youtu.be/YHq3jCG16Hs

A long time ago, Gene Hackman, who I respect as an actor, was asked why he does so many films a year. His response was that an actor, to get better, has to work as much as possible to hone his craft.
Nicolas Gage took that advice and works a lot. Now, granted, Cage is not of the same caliber as Hackman, but he has the same work ethic. He wants to improve his abilities.
And granted, Dwayne Johnson is not up to the caliber of Nicolas Cage, and certainly not Hackman, but he probably thinks along those lines, also. And I have noticed over the years, that he has improved. Will he ever be an Oscar winner? Probably not, but you never can tell. Just look at Barbara Streisand, Cher and Kim Basinger. No one ever thought that any of them would win Oscars, but they did.

He's just looking for the quick bucks while he has the chance. He's purely a physical actor, once that goes, he will be done.

reply

daveat23....wrong Nic Cage doesnt do it so he can become a better actor, he does it because he needs the money...he is in a huge debt.

reply

And thats bad why? Cage did some awesome movies that would probably not be anywhere near as good had he not been in them.

reply

I would say that it was Die Hard-esque, without the humor. But the humor is really what made Die Hard.

They made the wife more relevant this time LOL :D

reply

It's lie Die Hard, except this time it's in a building!

reply

I'd say Die Hard meets Enter the Dragon meets Rocky Balboa (aaaadrian)
