The funniest part is a girl could never do what Rey does

Especially one as small and frail as Rey. It was in the realm of ridiculousness to see such a puny character being the greatest ever lol.

I actually laughed every time she 'owned' people in fights.

This is above and beyond what any kind of escapism can have you believe.

Not to mention she is intellectually inferior (as an actress too).

Shows you how lame female and soy lad writers can be in their fantasy land heads lol.

Truth is 1 person could have easily king hit her and then who knows what.

reply

Why don't you get a real job ?

reply

Why don't you listen to other people?

reply

Why don't I listen to you and your fellow sock puppets ? Because you talk a lot of shit that's why.

reply

When did you become woke, Hunchback?

reply

Star Wars is a fantasy, and Rey is fantasy in that she can do so much.

I dunno why I find Luke, Leia, Han and Vader so compelling while I find Rey, Finn, Poe and Kylo Ren SO FUCKING UNLIKEABLE.

reply

Because the movie doesn't give us a reason to like them.

reply

And because today's "writers" can't write for SHIT.

reply

Not only that, they aren't trying to write compelling characters.

It's about inculcating a message: women are superior, men are inferior.

A couple of generations from now that's the only kind of media that will exist in the West, and most people will find it "normal" by that point. Seeing women beat up men on the regular with her black sidekick/sometimes boyfriend and her Mexican lesbian girlfriend whose adopted son they raise while dismantling the patriarchy will be seen as normal fanfare at that point and no one will question it.

A lot of times you need a strong starting point and then you just slowly boil the frog until it's cooked. Star Wars Sequel Trilogy is basically turning the dial up on the stove.

Not if I can help it, myself and many millions of already normal people.

reply

I wish I had your optimism.

reply

cyguration Woke people are not the majority despite what they would have you believe and wokeness is nothing more than a fad that is already starting to die off. I just don't see that scenario happening, those future generations you mentioned are already turning against the woke millennial generation as we speak. Don't listen to MSM, they are liars.

reply

Yup. No story arcs in the Disney trilogy. Everyone ends up the same as they started. Worryingly still is that both Solo and Rogue One had better character development.

reply

My biggest gripe with Solo was that they didn't hire Anthony Ingruber to play a young Solo.

Countless people begged Disney to hire this guy. His little YouTube video contained more charisma and magnetism than the guy they ended up going with. I felt the Solo story wasn't bad, but the guy playing Han was just a charisma vacuum, and nothing about his performance was memorable.

But it's sad, that even with a movie I'll never watch again, I liked it better than the sequel trilogy. That's how awful the sequel trilogy is.

And you're right, even with the completely messy script that felt like three movies in one with Rogue One, there was still better character stories and resolution than Rey's space ransack of straight white males.

reply

Classic Ingruber!

reply

There's a lot of reasons to criticize Rey, but her size isn't one of them.

After all, look at Yoda 😜 "Size matters not"

reply

Don't feed the Trolls.

reply

Yoda is not a weak human, he is an alien that spent hundreds of years training and he doesn't hand-to-hand anyone, he uses a saber or force powers.

Plus he goes into hiding.

reply

Isn't this a far away galaxy? Isn't it within the realm of possibility that in that galaxy, humanoids evolved where females have much more dense and stronger muscles than males. So while the females may be smaller in appearance, their more dense musculature puts them on equal footing with males more bulky, but less compact body.

This is science fiction after all. We can use our imagination to explain things if the story doesn't come right out and say it directly.

reply

Can a man shoot lighting out of his hands or perform other Jedi/Sith feats? Yoda is 2 feet tall. You comprehend these people are super heroes/villains, right? What a dumb argument.

reply

Yoda is an alien species, not a weak human female.

reply

Yoda is a puppet you idiot.

reply

Spoilers Quas, spoilers!

reply

Which makes it even more believable since it's a man controlling and voicing him after all.

reply

Bahahahahahah!

reply

Quasimodo Well no shit, Sherlock.

reply

Why can't you man-babies just say, "I don't like this move" instead of coming up with this "logic" that shoots yourself in the foot? No one takes your criticism seriously.

reply

I don't like this movie and I'm telling you why.

If you don't like it, don't eat it.

reply

"and I'm telling you why."

And I'm telling you why your reasons are shit. Because she's a woman? Small? LOL, are you 5 years old? Everyone else can do these feats, but Rey can't? That makes no sense. NONE. Your opinion has no merit.

reply

Literally no-one can do what Rey does, that's why she is unrealistic.

And she is only written that way because Kennedy wanted 'the real hero' to be female since she is a clueless feminist pig.

reply

Qui Gon figured out how to become a Force ghost, Luke show is how to project himself across the universe, Palpatine CAME BACK TO LIFE - these were all firsts. You sound foolish.

reply

They weren't firsts, in fact we see rey/kylo projecting before we see Luke do it.

Rey is a feminist pig daydream.

reply

You're wrong. Rey and Ren were able to do what they did because of their connection: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Force-bond. That wasn't Force Projection like Luke was doing. They were only able to do that with each other.

Luke figured out how to project himself anywhere. No connection to anyone needed: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Force_projection

reply

That's crazy to think an old, long term Jedi master with access to the complete Jedi texts could figure such a thing out!

Certainly less believable than a marvel superhero invented by pigs and board room clowns being in SW.

reply

Palpatine is an old human and Vader, a crippled human.

reply

Luke's not an alien. Qui Gon, Obi Wan, and Mace Windu aren't aliens. Neither is Leia.

Yoda is puny. So is Baby Yoda.

reply

And rey's character is a slut - imagine what she did on the side to get some extra rations off unklar πŸ˜‚

reply

"And rey's character is a slut - imagine what she did on the side to get some extra rations off unklar πŸ˜‚"

This isn't worthy of a response. I'm only replying to this so people can how fucking nuts you are.

reply

Hey its not as interesting as what Ridley would have done to get the part ... Because she certainly didn't get it on acting merit.

reply

YOU ARE A BAD PERSON.πŸ™‚

reply

It’s obvious she was written to reflect the way Kathleen Kennedy wishes the world saw her.

reply

Yes she is written as an all knowing feminist PIG!

reply

100% troll. Not serious at all.

reply

ignore the troll.... person is just trying to get feathers ruffled up
