shareIs it racist to dislike symphonies, ballets and concertos? I personally like Western classical music, but would never accuse someone else of being racist against whites - unless, of course, dislike of white people was specifically stated as the reason for not liking it. Why would disliking rap make some one a racist against blacks as a matter of course? What about the many white, Asian, Hispanic, etc. rappers? How do you know the poster doesn't like Ragtime, Blues, Reggae or Jazz? For all you know, rap may be the exception and the poster enjoys other previous forms of Afro-inspired music.

Racist? I love jazz, which has had a great deal of Black creative input and participation over the past century. In fact, there are many music historians who consider Jazz a predominantly black art form. I can listen to Motown and sometimes actually enjoy it. But I regard rap as non-musical noise with lyrics that reflect brutal criminal ghetto culture. Apparently, by your completely illogical criteria, that makes me racist. Well then, as stupid as that is, I'll just have to reconcile myself to living without your approval.

A lot of people on the internet just scream "Racist!" when they see a trigger word without actually looking at the context , or even thinking about the statement at all , you're not one of those are you?
