its time for Star Wars..to end.. ?

Well end wouldn't happen its never going to end , but yknow, like go away for a while (like SW in most of the 80s/90s), no series, no films, let ppl miss it and kind of forget it , so they like concentrating on all the other stuff marvel or whatever for a few years until they be like 'star wars.? What is that i dont even remember .. '

So in 10? years SW can make a really big (screen) comeback like Phantom Menace/Force Awakens (Episode X. set 80 years after IX. New cast, a few call backs to what went before )

As long as Palpatine somehow survived for this episode X and there was plenty of sand about, I'm sure it would be a winner...

Star Wars: Episode X - Who Cares Anymore

reply

Fitting name.

reply

In ten years it might just get rebooted.

I hear what you’re saying, but I truly believe that Disney has forever ruined the brand. Personally, I will never again watch a Star Wars product that’s been created post-Lucas. I don’t care if they drop by Forest Lawn, pull Carrie Fisher out of her sarcophagus, stuff her into the metal bikini again, and get Frank Oz to puppeteer her. I’m done.

reply

Could not agree more, it ended for me after I saw episode 8.

reply

i respectfully disagree

look at the batman films for example

some of them suck and some are great

there is no reason SW can't have it's own Dark Knight or Joker in the future

reply

Past time. It’s been all downhill since ‘Empire Strikes Back’ and the recent installments have been unwatchable bilge.

reply

When we are all hiding in the ruins of the advanced human civilization, you might yet look back at our times and think: "Well, at least they still had Star Wars then"

reply

No. But I will miss Dunkaroos.

reply

It ended when George Lucas' involvement ended.

reply

In the hindsight, yeah, pretty much.

reply

Rogue One (2016) was good. Other than that, Star Wars ended with Return of the Jedi (1983).

reply

Yeah, nice to see Vader and the death star again, the movie however was underwhelming
