Then, she's too old. Preteens, teens and very young adults tend to like that look.

It doesn't hurt that he's French, too.

Well, Paul is 15 years old when Dune begins, so he actually looks too old, but close enough that I don't see a problem. Many fifteen year olds are slim.

I don't know anything about him. While being a little old and effeminate, he does have the look for Paul Atreides (perhaps because his effeminism makes him look younger), so I will give him a chance here.

However, I would have a hard time believing him as a macho badass (the kind of character Jason Statham and Duane Johnson play)

I think he gives the Paul Atreides vibe pretty well, based on the trailer at least.
