He’s the best version of Peter Parker his personality is the most comic accurate version of Spider-Man He’s running rings around everyone he has more charisma then Tobey Maguire. Garfield Spider-Man is quippy but not an annoying way. He had a good back-and-forth between everybody. Extremely underrated

No, he's not. Just because Andrew surprisingly shined in this movie, that doesn't mean he was the best Spider-Man all along or that his movies were actually good.
Tobey's Peter was adorkable but his Spider-Man wasn't quippy enough. Andrew's Peter came off as a drug addict in the first TASM and an indecisive stalker in TASM 2, but I liked his Spider-Man, he was quippy and and funny.
Tom Holland is the best of both worlds, an adorkable Peter and a funny Spider-Man. The character was treated as Iron Boy Jr for too long, but Tom's acting as Spider-Man is the best I've seen so far, and is the closest to the comics personality-wise.
Tom Holland sucks, sounds whiny and looks like a perpetual teenager.
shareI completely agree. Holland is the Peter Parker of the comics come to life. Garfield is a great actor, but didn't make a great Parker. He was a great Spider-Man, but Holland is better.
shareI actually didn't like Toby at all, he was dorky but in a kind of creepy way. Garfield was too good looking and came across more like a jock than a nerd. But he was a good Spider-man like you say. Tom Holland has the right balance.
shareIf I had only seen TASM1, I would say he was the worst.
I wasn't even going to go see TASM2. But friends made me go.
To my surprise, everything I hated about TASM1, including Garfield's interpretation of the character, was magically much better in TASM2.
Now, the movie has problems- but I do think TASM2 is the closest we've gotten to a comic accurate Peter, Spider-Man, and universe. I liked the chemistry between the leads, and that it wasn't overly soapy.
Holland is good- but Garfield is my favorite.
And he just cements that in No Way Home.

Holland is the winner for me overall and he's only behind Maguire as peter parker becuase he didn't get the same emotional story arc (uncle Ben). Obviously there was a bit here but I think the original spiderman did that bit better
I'm something of a comic book purist, so I'm judging more on how closely they resemble the character I grew up reading, and give less thought to emotional story arcs. Garfield can't help that he was cast in lousy films.

He definitely had the best/most emotional scene when he saved MJ. I could feel his pain and regret having failed to save Gwen.
