I just came back from seeing this movie. It's one of those redemption movies with a twist. I thought Damon was very good as a fish out of water. The young actress who played Maya was exquisite. The ending was unsatisfying I thought. 6.5/10

The Mexican government doesn't want to provide any safety net to take care of their people that are at the lowest levels of Mexican society instead they basically chase them across the border into the US where we don't get the best and brightest Mexicans, we get the worst ones that Mexico chases out of their own country... shareI am French, to make it simple and short in Europe there are two kinds of rapes
-from people the girl might know or get involved with, like going at a friend's party, classmates birthday, etc... people are drunk, high and in the crazy party mood, horny and things get out of control; this type would be more by whites.
-from total strangers and the woman is at the wrong place at the wrong time, this type in terms of ratio / proportion is definitively perpetrated much much more by africans, north africans and middle easterns than by whites , absolutely no question about that.
I am French and I totally agree, crazy number of africans and north africans / arabs who have no desire of integration or working hard, create a lot of insecurity and crime; and spread islam in france, hopefully the government will finally act to stop this modern day colonization and invasion.
