who of Jon's Magnificent Seven Avengers do you think will die?

Because really, I doubt they're all going to get back alive, just not Thrones.

I think Jon, the Hound, and Beric will be fine based on them still seeming to have too much story to die here.

I think Jorah and Gendry will be fine, based on the fact that they both just came back into the fold, so they likely still have things left to do.

I think Tormund and Thoros are the most likely candidates to die, neither of them seems to have too much of a heavy arc right now, and it would feel fitting for Tormund to die north of the Wall.

They will all live. Thoros will tweak a hamstring and Gendry will suffer minor bruising.

reply

I think Jorah will die and definitely Tormund.
Thoros
I'd say the only people who we pretty much know will not die next episode are Jon Snow & the Hound.

Tormund. Possible but highly unlikely at this point as he is virtually the only Wildling character at this point who isn't an uncredited extra so to kill him off would likely require a new prominent Wildling character to be introduced to take his place. Plus he hasn't made his move on Brienne yet.

Gendry. Possible (shock value) but unlikely they would bring back Gendry, the last remnant of the Baratheon line just to immediately kill him off.

Jorah. (shock value) Possible but again unlikely that they would bother having Samwell improbably cure his greyscale just to immediately kill him off.

Beric. Very possible as he and his companion have the least amount of stake in the main plot although his lord of light resurrection abilities strongly suggest he's being kept from dying for a reason. Is that reason to be red shirted in a suicidal "capture a wight" plan? We will see.

Thoros. Most likely to be killed off. Has no major stake in the plot and killing him off raises the stakes and tension for Jon Snow and Baric with no one left to resurrect them. If you're a betting man you should bet on it being Thoros who bites it.

may be one of them will die then they bright back the corpse and wait for it to turn to a white walker.

I thought Jorah might die doing something heroic, but he probably needs a couple scenes with Jon first. One so Jorah can learn more about his father, two so Jon can learn more about Dany. Jorah is the only one with roots in The North who can give his perspective, and Jon is already starting to trust her.

reply

Thoros of Myr will die, and the three "red shirts" who came with them. I don't think any of the others will die. They wouldn't have reintroduced Jorah and Gendry only to kill them. And I don't think it'll be Beric or Tormund. Jon has plot armour and so does The Hound.

reply

Yup. As we've seen ep6 now.

reply

Just saw it. Devastating.

reply

Poor nameless redshirts :D

reply

Yeah, there's got to be another scene with Jorah & Danaerys. And Tormund & Brienne. And Beric & the Mountain.

Jon & Danaerys hooking up is a no-brainer. And the Hound is going to have another scene with Arya.

reply

Nothing like telescoping uh.

I think a lot of those from the Brotherhood will die, while Jon, Gendry, and the Hound will definitely live. Tormund may live because he is needed to head the wildlings unless they are going with this Sansa betrayal supposed plot. But I think or hope, Sansa is just misleading LF into thinking she will betray Jon. She betrayed her family once, I hope she has learned her lesson. Jorah may live because I don't see the point of curing him only for him to die within 2-3 episodes. Of course they may be wanting him to die with a bang rather than a whimper.

reply

I predict the brotherhood will die and possibly the Hound, but it'd have to be in a super epic way. Tormund is vulnerable as well, but aside from Tyrion, he's the only comedic relief in the show. At this point, I think Jon could survive a nuclear blast so im pretty sure hes not going anywhere. Jorah and Gendry's resurrected storylines would just be wasted if they were killed off so that's unlikely.

Pretty much agree...
•Sandor still has a story arc to conclude
•Jon...well hes going into the endgame then dies a great hero death
•Tormund still has to try his moves on Brienn (and will get his ass kicked...but c'mon theyre totally gonna do it anyway;)
•Gendry just returned AND has 'kings-blood' so he is needed for final season drama
•love Jorah so i hope he dies in final conflict defending his crush/queen Dany
• I think Beric and Thoros buy the farm next ep...which sucks cuz those guys are totally cool
