Gratuitous rape scene for one. It was unnecessary and added nothing to the plot. The characters were annoying and unlikable except maybe for Sam Loomis. The death scenes were poorly directed (this is my main criticism) and it just goes on for far too long.

Honestly, I really hated that just about all the male characters had ridiculous looking facial hair.

Nightmare on elm street is worse. The first 40 mins of this are at least watchable

I've seen worse.The Fog remake comes to mind.But this is certainly up there.

Not crazy about this movie but imo the remakes of both The Hitcher and The Stepfather are much worse.

Actually, honestly, the more I watch RZ's H2, the more I like it better than this one! And that surprised the hell out of me when I realized it!
