I think Johnny Cage will be in it as a reveal - so if it gets another movie, he'll be there.

Kung Lao is actually pretty solid in the last game. You learn his hat tricks and you can wreck shop with him.

I haven't played in years, but I would've picked Kung Lao as many times as I picked Johnny Cage.

Not true. I played Kung Lao a lot in MK2 on Genesis.

Kung Lao was practically undefeatable in MK2 with his zoning hat control. Only way you could get close is with Scorpion's teleportion, but if you used his standing spin you could knock Scorpion out of the air.

He was easily one of the most cheating characters in MK2, and was practically impossible to beat with a skilled player, save for maybe Jax using his ground-and-pound to disrupt the hat spam.

I mostly use Kung Lao when I was a kid. At the time I thought he was a Mexican. The hat was OP af.

Makes perfect sense. "Fight" racism with more racism. That won't just make people more tribalistic and racist. Obviously, race relations are WAY better now under wokeism than they were ten years ago. Or twenty years ago. Or THIRTY years ago.

I've seen this story blow up but I'm going to try and not worry about it. Apparently the director has already said if he gets to make a sequel Johnny Cage will be included.
