Will there be a new host?

I didn't think anyone could replace Bob Barker on The Price Is Right, but Drew Carey has actually done a great job and is now in his 13th year with it. They've really found a way to blend the traditional look and feel of the show, while also modernizing it and fitting it more to Drew. Although TPR has the advantage of having multiple sets and games, and 10 contestants each show. Jeopardy is stuck on the 1 set, with only 3 contestants who tend to not be the most energetic people in the world.

A few years ago, the man himself recommended Laura Coates. She's some CNN analyst.

The host of Crosswords was fairly good. I would prefer him over someone like Ken Jennings (who I suspect is in consideration).


Ty was his first name. Don't remember his last name and don't really care to look it up. Oh yeah just remembered. Ty Treadway.

When a game show host passes away it is usually the job for the show's producers to find a suitable host that can do the job well. In Jeopardy I think they will announce a new host very soon but will not make it official until next year but here are some of my possible picks,
1. J.K. Simmons,
2. Todd Newton
3. David Hyde Pierce
4. Kelsey Grammer
5. Bill O'Reilly
6. Jeff Glor
7. Anderson Cooper
8. Lester Holt
9. Robin Meade
10. Chris Hayes
But I think Jeopardy will still survive because even with the new host Alex Trebek's wit and spirit will still be alive with Jeopardy fans who have supported the show for a long time

Of course there will. The format is bigger than the host. It's not going to get cancelled.

From looks of things it seems former contestant Ken Jennings was being groomed to take his place.
