Making a case against Baldwin will be a lot more difficult. He'll have better lawyers for one.
I think Baldwin's been on enough movie sets to know better than to point a gun at a crewmember like he did. Will the jury be convinced, though.
But he did point a gun at a crewmember like he did. Nobody disputes that, not even him.

You cant summarize it like that like you could with a bank robber saying
"at the end of the day you were in the bank with a loaded gun demanding money"
also the "movie sets must handle guns with all the same precautions and rules as the real world" debate has been played out 100x on this page.
The circumstance was that Baldwin pointed a loaded gun at a person and discharged it. It was negligence on his part. A person is always responsible for their bullets go, even if they were supposed to have a gun filled with blanks or dummy round.
I could never justify shooting someone in the manner that Baldwin did, especially given my decades of experience shooting firearms.
They should have just gone with "Reckless Endangerment" with Baldwin. He was careless, to be sure. But, he unfortunately trusted this "Armorer." Baldwin has tons of money for lawyers to get him off, Gutierrez doesn't. She will serve for a while, anyway.

And by his role in this, I mean his decision as PRODUCER to hire an inexperienced safety officer and not support her properly in her job once she had it.
