Were you better off 4 years ago?

Gas was only $1.93/gal.
Toilet paper was $10 a roll on the black market.
Good times.

reply

yeah, I think everyone was better off 4 years.

the only good thing to happen is that I get to work at home now...

reply

many things got better but not the news media still run by rich idiots

reply

I don't remember the threat of WW3 being casually tossed around.

I don't remember the US backing an open genocide.

But sometimes I forget things.

reply

WWIII is something that has been casually tossed around ever since the end of II.

But, four years ago, I remember the end of democracy being tossed around and attempts made to do it and that was highly unusual.

reply

Yes, BLM and Antifa tried to take over the country during 2020. The far left was out of control during the Trump years and were actively trying to overthrow the government.

reply

You cannot support the claim that BLM was trying to take over the country.
They were peacefully protesting the police state which reacted with violence, as did their comrades in the far right. This is documented.

reply

They very much were, they threatened to burn the country down and kill people if the police weren’t defunded. They even took over an entire city block. That is an attempt to overthrow the government and a terroristic threat.

They were not peacefully protesting, they were torching cities, courthouses, police stations, assaulting police officers and killing innocent people. You probably only watched the fake news during 2020 which selectively showed you the footage they wanted you to see.

reply

Show me where they made that demand.

reply

reply

"Burn down the system and replace it"

Kind of like draining the swamp, you know.

reply

First of all you’re trying to justify bad behavior with bad behavior. Secondly “drain the swamp” is clearly a figure of speech. “Burn the country down” is a direct terroristic threat against the country and our democracy and BLM torch multiple cities and killed dozens of people.

reply

The BLM guy said it was a figure of speech.
BLM people weren't literally lighting matches. OK, maybe a few individuals, but that wasn't what the movement was about. Most of the property damage and killing was done by right wing extremists.

I mean there was one documented case of a BLM person killing someone in Portland. That is half of the toll taken by the hero of the right, Kyle Rittenhouse.

reply

BLM was literally setting courthouses, police stations , etc on fire. It was a terroristic threat and they threatened to overthrow the government.

And even if there were some BLM terrorists not killing cops and burning the country down they should have immediately denounced the vast majority that were and distanced themselves from the movement. They made their own beds.

And those thugs Kyle protected himself against deserved to die. Kyle is not just a “hero of the right” he’s an American hero and deserves a medal.

reply

"BLM was literally setting courthouses, police stations , etc on fire."

Link please.

"And even if there were some BLM terrorists not killing cops and burning the country down they should have immediately denounced the vast majority that were and distanced themselves from the movement."

reply

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRXTFuzBclY

You showed me one chapter of BLM, the vast majority of them didn’t have the moral courage to denounce the terrorism therefore they are complicit in the insurrections and riots.

reply

"They [BLM] were peacefully protesting...This is documented."

Nope. But what actually is documented, in thousands of photographs and hundreds of hours of video, are BLM riots in many cities, consisting of extensive arson, vandalism, assault, looting, and even killing. This terrorism went on for several months. Maybe you didn't notice because you were visiting your home planet that year.

reply

I don't know how anyone can say they weren't better off with Trump other than you just don't like the man because the fact of it is, is gas and pretty much everything was cheap back then, and then the Biden Administration came along and the rest they say is History??

reply

Did you enjoy lockdowns and empty grocery store shelves?

[deleted]

THE FACTS: That’s not Biden’s plan at all. Biden has said he would shut down the economy only if scientists and public health advisers recommended he do so to stem the COVID-19 threat. He said he would follow the science, not disregard it.

Biden told ABC last month he “will be prepared to do whatever it takes to save lives” when he was asked if he would even be willing to shut the country again.

“I would listen to the scientists,” he said. If they said to shut it down, “I would shut it down.”

Biden's fault, not Trump's

reply

You just demonstrated how Biden was a much better President than Trump. Biden will listen to the science, while Trump just says whatever thought pops into his head at the time (drink bleach, try to put UV lights under your skin).

reply

Indeed!

It is important to remember that Trump typically comes down on both sides of an issue. He called for shutdowns then claimed shutdowns were wrong. He claimed credit for vaccines being developed then distanced himself from vaccines. He says he is for abortion laws that are consistent with what there was under Roe v Wade but takes credit for getting rid of RvW. This is why his sycophants can always claim he was right.

reply

Science was wrong, in this case, Liberal science said it was necessary to wear masks and stay 6 feet apart and that was heavily flawed and had holes punched in it

reply

I'm surprised that you honestly think the science on masks and keeping your distance is wrong. Surgeons and other doctors and medical professionals wear masks so that they don't spread germs to their patients. That has been a proven practice for over 100 years.

Keeping your distance from someone who is sick does give you a better chance at not contracting that illness. This is the reason we are advised to stay home when we are sick ... so that we don't spread that sickness to our friends, classmates, coworkers.

Wow, next thing you know, you're going to try to convince me that washing my hands is a waste of time.

reply

Look kid, I went every chance I got at not wearing a mask, not vaccinated, NONE OF IT and turned out just fine and not only that, but out of courtesy toward my co-workers who bought into this bullshit, I took a Covid test, swab up my nose and all, and passed.. How is this possible for someone not vaccinated, for a President in Joe Biden who insisted at one point that if you didn't get the "Jab", you were as good as getting Covid and would possibly die and now what?? Well?? How do you explain this?? They stated Millions died from it?? Who says?? Prove it?? Where are the bodies and even more pressing is, how Biden can allow 20 Million illegal aliens to come into the U.S, none of them vaccinated and not a word over it, while just 3 years earlier, he refused to allow anyone in from Mexico who weren't vaccinated??

reply

I always wore a mask, tested weekly (sometimes twice weekly) - it was required (and provided) at work and had the vaccine plus boosters. I also never tested positive. So that's proof that all of those things are required, right? No, it's not proof. But there is science to indicate that it's a good idea.

I am one person, and you are one person. That makes our experiences "anecdotal."

What you stated is called anecdotal data. There will always be that one case that defies the odds. That doesn't mean it will work for everyone.

Out of curiosity, how old do you think I am? Why would you call me "kid?" Do you think I'm in my 20's?

reply

I'm awesome and defied the odds and have the U.S Flag wrapped around me over it like Stallone from ROCKY IV

reply

ok

reply

For all of your bravado, I think you probably did get vaccinated and did get covid. You just picked a side and will said anything to prop up your story.

Why do you think none of the illegals that entered the USA were not vaccinated?

reply

Trump suggested disinfectant be injected, not ingested. This needs to be reported correctly. LOL. Trump was such a tool when he suggested those things.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zicGxU5MfwE

reply

You're right. My apologies.

I love how he kept looking at the experts, "No one's tried that, right?" Well, maybe no one has tried it because they already know how dangerous it would be.

reply

4 years ago we were having shut downs. Have you forgotten?

reply

that was Fauci and the CDC's idea. and it was only supposed to be 15 days...

luckily, the one way isles at wal mart eradicated covid.

reply

Well, intelligent people listen to intelligent people. Of course we should listen to Fauci and the CDC.

People who did not study biology and medicine and work in infections diseases for decades really should be listening to those who did.

reply

if Fauci is so smart then what happened to the 15 days? why did Fauci say that masks were not effective and then said to wear 2 masks?

reply

You have to look at both of those statements in context.

Recommending certain measures to be put in place and saying that if this is done correctly we could see a significant change in 15 days depends on those measures actually being put into place (which did not always happen) and it being done so correctly (which also did not always happen).

The mask comment was specifically speaking about the mask protecting the mask wearer as opposed to the mask protecting the people around them. The mask does not significantly protect the mask wearer, but the mask will significantly protect the people around the mask wearer. A fact that many people choose to ignore.

Fauci is smart. He is very smart. He is also educated, and that is the crucial fact here. He actually knows what he's taking about, and you are speculating and hoping to catch him being wrong. He may make mistakes, but that will never change the fact that he is intelligent, educated and is capable of making adjustments based on prior experience and new data.

reply

It was worse to inhale and exhale your own germs with the mask on VS simply taking it off and breathing fresh air for Christ sake.. This whole thing was such a WASH since Day 1 that if Hillary would've won in 2016, you wouldn't have heard 1 word about Covid-19 and it's true.. Nonsense and for anyone that did die from it, they died from the stress the MSM and Biden put on everyone over it, especially if you were elderly.. It was all psychosomatic

reply

It was worse to inhale and exhale your own germs with the mask on VS simply taking it off and breathing fresh air

Um, no. You already have germs in your body. How would breathing them back in matter?

You have lots of theories, but none of it is based in science, so it's irrelevant.

By the way, you're the one who brought up Hillary.

reply

You have lots of theories, but none of it is based in science, so it's irrelevant.

Science is also based on theories.

reply

Science begins with theories, but some of them can be proven. Science is always evolving and learning (that much is true), but most of what I have responded to are theories that people have because the facts are inconvenient. People want masks to be ineffective because they don't like wearing them, not because they actually ineffective.

reply

The masks didn't work. Fauci lied and people died.

reply

The masks did work. Unfortunately, people still died. Not everything works perfectly, and masks do not provide 100% protection. Just like seat belts do not prevent one from dying in a car crash. It's sad and unfortunate, but it is also the truth.

reply

Fauci is on video admitting that masks do not work.

Studies have shown that masks don't work since virus molecules are smaller than the holes in the mask.

reply

Surgeons and other doctors and medical professionals wear masks so that they don't spread germs to their patients. That has been a proven practice for over 100 years.

What you said is simply not true. Masks do work, Fauci has reiterated on numerous occasions the importance of masks. You may have heard someone else make claims to the contrary, but Fauci is not one of them.

reply

Fauci admitted it on video.

reply

He really didn't.

reply

He really did:

Dr. Fauci, at the beginning of COVID, explaining why masks do not work.

He said:

"There's no reason to be walking around with a mask when you're in the middle of an outbreak.

Wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet, but it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is."

reply

No one ever thought a mask was perfect protection. The only ones saying the words "perfect protection" are people like you who claim they are not perfect.

What next? Are you going to claim that people who say water is dry are wrong? Get a clue. No one is saying that crap.

reply

Those were Fauci's own words.
And masks provide zero protection against viruses.

reply

Prove it. Should I be able to post anything strange thing and claim you said it without proof?

No competent medical authority claimed a mask protects against viruses. They claimed that a mask helps contain droplets of moisture from the nose and mouth that might be contaminated with viruses.

reply

BKB.....you know not of what you speak. I don't buy into conspiracy theories. I guess you do.

reply

I know more than you think I do

reply

Fauci is a well known liar and a mass murderer.

reply

Except he's not, but nice try.

reply

If Fauci is a mass murder, then why did Trump not have him arrested and put on trial? Trump did say he could do anything. Is this another example of why you claim Trump was a doormat instead of a president?

reply

Fauci has immunity. He cannot be prosecuted ... yet.

reply

What is your evidence for this claim? What grants him immunity for anything at all? This sounds like another stupid claim you made up. Trump claimed he could do anything. Is this how you again claim Trump is a doormat because he could not do anything about Fauci?

reply

I am not speculating anything, Fauci said 15 days to slow the spread. then he said standing 6 feet apart would ensure not spreading the virus. he said that a mask is not needed, then recommended wearing a 1 mask and then said to wear 2 masks. nothing Fauci recommended did any good anyways. people still died. the only thing that helped solve the spread was natural immunity.

shutting the economy down for a year was worse than the virus.

half the strip mall by house is vacant because of the failed actions of Fauci.

also Fauci is not smart. if he was then covid would have ended in 15 days.

reply

Fauci said 15 days to slow the spread ... Fauci is not smart. if he was then covid would have ended in 15 days.

I'm not sure you are aware of this, but "slow the spread" and "ended" are not the same thing.

he said that a mask is not needed, then recommended wearing a 1 mask and then said to wear 2 masks

Fauci displayed his intelligence by reassessing the situation and making recommendations based on new information. That's what intelligent people do.

shutting the economy down for a year was worse than the virus.

Well, first of all, Fauci did not shut down the economy. Second, most people would take being alive over not being alive.

reply

my bad, how come 15 days to slow the spread did not slow the spread of covid? even a year did not slow the spread.

haha

why did millions lose their jobs then? you would rather be homeless?

thankfully Trump with his superior intellect gave us OWS and saved billions of lives.

reply

how come 15 days to slow the spread did not slow the spread of covid? even a year did not slow the spread.

You don't know that it didn't slow the spread. Maybe the virus would have spread 10 times as fast if we hadn't taken the 15 days.

why did millions lose their jobs then?

It's unfortunate that people lost their jobs, but that does not mean that Fauci shut down the economy.

thankfully Trump with his superior intellect gave us OWS and saved billions of lives.

Oh my gosh!!! That's hilarious!!! Superior intellect!!! Did you just watch Star Trek II?

Trump is an ignorant man full of hot air. He doesn't say anything of substance, but he is very good at finding things to make you be afraid of and blaming his opponents for it.

Superior intellect! Thank you for making my day! I'm just glad I wasn't drinking coffee at that moment. I might have needed to buy a new laptop! (Superior intellect. Yep, not going to forget that any time soon!)

reply

you can thank congress and fauci for the inflation. they thought it was a good idea to shut down the global economy for a year and pay people 600 bucks a week not to work. you can also thank congress for passing 7 trillion in stimulus.

Joe said he was going to BBB and its been over 3 years now. when do things get better?

reply

You're giving Congress and Fauci way too much credit. Neither one of them has the power to do anything globally.

Why would I not want to thank Joe Biden for "Bringing Back Better?" Things are much better now than they were 4 years ago.

Biden brought us out of Trump's disastrous response to Covid. Things are better because Biden implemented an actual plan with actual results that helped the country recover and helped the economy recover.

I'm sorry things aren't better for you? Maybe they are, but you haven't noticed because you're too busy listening to Trump? (Hint: Trump doesn't actually know what he's talking about. He's just a man who's angry that he lost and is trying to find ways to blame everyone else. The fact that more people voted for the other guy is completely irrelevant to him.)

reply

again, thanks to Trump, millions if not billions of lives were saved when Trump helped the American people with Operation Warp Speed. the Cares act also helped people when Fauci said it was a good idea to shut down the economy for a year. we were lucky to have President Trump during this radical plandemic.

reply

Yeap, OWS saved billions.

reply

agreed, scientists are now saying that Trump saved over 5 billion lives and 10 billion future lives. when humans are living on Mars. we will still be thanking Trump.

reply

Operation Warp Speed is just the government giving the final ok to having a vaccine. Trump didn't do anything.

Fauci didn't shut down the economy. That's as dumb as closing a restaurant for one day and saying no one can have food anymore.

reply

Dictator Joe made everyone take the clot shot. thats why so many people are dying. Dementia Joe has to go, he is despicable..

reply

That's what Operation Warp Speed was! It was manufacturing and distributing the vaccine!

How can you possibly say that Trump saved everyone by authorizing the vaccine but Biden is killing everyone because they are actually getting the vaccine?

By the way no one is dying from the vaccine.

reply

of course no one is dying from the Trump vaccine. dont be stupid.

reply

thanks to Trump, millions if not billions of lives were saved when Trump helped the American people with Operation Warp Speed
no one is dying from the Trump vaccine

Joe made everyone take the
vaccine
thats why so many people are dying.

Same vaccine,.

So which is it? Did the vaccine saves lives, or is everyone dying?

reply

Dictator Joe made everyone take at least 8 boosters or lose your job. Trump gave people the option to take the vaccine.

reply

Really? Eight boosters? See, now you’re just making stuff up. No one has had eight boosters.

reply

CDC recommends the 2023–2024 updated COVID-19 vaccines: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, or Novavax, to protect against serious illness from COVID-19.
Everyone aged 5 years and older ‡ should get 1 dose of an updated COVID-19 vaccine to protect against serious illness from COVID-19.
Children aged 6 months–4 years need multiple doses of COVID-19 vaccines to be up to date, including at least 1 dose of updated COVID-19 vaccine.
People who are moderately or severely immunocompromised may get additional doses of updated COVID-19 vaccine.
People aged 65 years and older who received 1 dose of any updated 2023-2024 COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna or Novavax) should receive up to 8 additional doses of an updated COVID-19 vaccine at least 4 months after the previous updated dose. For more Novavax information, click or tap here.
COVID-19 vaccine recommendations will be updated as needed.
People who are up to date have lower risk of severe illness, hospitalization and death from COVID-19 than people who are unvaccinated or who have not completed the doses recommended for them by CDC.

reply

OMG! You mean there is one very specific group of people who might need more doses than the average person because they fall into a specific risk category??? And the language of that specific group of people includes the word "might?" And somehow that, to you, translates to the President requiring that of everyone???

I can understand why you would try to convince people that the President required it, but then you show me "proof" that he didn't and still insist that he did?

reply

your welcome...

reply

And shockingly, you still don't realize that YOU proved yourself wrong.

reply

how did I do this? please provide the evidence.

reply

thats not proof of anything, do you have a link by chance?

reply

Do I have a link to prove that what you said is wrong? No. I also don’t have a link to prove that what you said is right. You didn’t provide a link at all. You can’t prove you didn’t just make it all up. Did you make it all up?

pwned yet again by JoWilli

hahahaa

What does pwned mean?

reply

A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."

Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned."

It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force.

you got prawned...

reply

Things are much better now than they were 4 years ago.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

reply

Yep. Much better now. Glad we agree.

reply

If you think things are better than under Trump, you need to get out more.

reply

You haven’t really said anything of substance so far. Is there an actual reason that you think things were better a few years ago? I’d be curious to know what that reason is.

It’s one thing to laugh and be sarcastic, but it’s quite another to make an intelligent argument.

reply

I see the ever increasing cost of everything, for one. Gas, electricity, food, interest rates, rentals, inflation, you name it.All of that was better under Trump.

reply

Businesses lost money during the pandemic and raised prices in an effort to stay afloat. That was a direct result of Trump and his mishandling of the pandemic.

You can thank Biden for working hard to slow down inflation and bring things back under control.

reply

You are way off. Biden caused the inflation and the whole world suffered from COVID which had nothing to do with Trump or how it was handled here. However you want to spin it, we were better off under Trump.

reply

Biden couldn’t have been responsible for the inflation. There wasn’t time. Prices started to rise before he became President, and the policies he put into place couldn’t have negatively affected prices that quickly. Economically speaking, it takes more time than that for prices to change. This is why each time the interest rate changed, it would be awhile before the consumer noticed a difference.

It’s easy to compare prices during Biden’s first year to prices in the summer of 2020. Gas prices were low that summer because few people were going anywhere. Gas was in very low demand. Once people started driving again, prices skyrocketed. All of that happened under Trump.Biden just happen to take over when prices her high, but he didn’t cause it.

reply

Like I said, spin it like you want. Things were better under Trump and no sane person would vote for Biden again.

reply

No spin. Businesses were struggling. As soon as things started picking up, they raised prices in order to make up for the slow months before. It's not rocket science.

Did you know that a President can't determine pricing? That's one of the drawbacks of Capitalism and a Free Market.

reply

No rocket surgery needed. it was better under the Trump ADMINISTRATION. Under the Biden ADMINISTRATION, its been worse with no light at the end of the tunnel. No sane person would vote for Biden again, expecting things to miraculously turn around.

reply

It actually wasn't better under Trump. Unemployment is down. Inflation is down. Nothing is getting worse. Things have only improved.

reply

You are either lying or you don't live in the real world.

reply

You keep saying I'm wrong, but you don't try to argue against anything I've said.

That's one of the things about Trump that really shows how unqualified he is. Anytime someone says something that Trump doesn't like, he says "Wrong. Wrong. That's wrong," or "Fake news." He doesn't explain why it's wrong or why he's right. Just, "Wrong. Fake news."

He doesn't have anything to say, because he doesn't actually know what he's doing. He's full of hot air and has no clue what he's doing. Call me crazy, but that is definitely not who I want as President. I prefer someone with intelligence who can have an intelligent conversation without resorting to name-calling.

reply

I gave you plenty of examples, but you're a brainwashed leftist with your head in the sand.

reply

brainwashed leftist

And that's how you lose all credibility.

I don't recall you giving any examples, but if you have any, the smart thing to do would be present them again.

By resorting to name calling, you demonstrate your inability to stick to the issues and make your case.

reply

Oh for heaven's sake, if this is how you choose to interpret this?? Then fine, but Biden is done along with his Administration in 7 months.. Trump's winning this for the mere fact he has his thumb on the pulse of this Nation attending a slain officer's funeral while Biden attends a fundraiser to drum up enough $$$$ to buy an election

reply

How would you interpret businesses struggling and then raising prices when people started spending again? You think one person caused this as opposed to business needed to make a profit in order to stay in business?

Trump's winning this for the mere fact he has his thumb on the pulse of this Nation attending a slain officer's funeral

lol. Oh my gosh!!! Did you say that with a straight face? You think Trump has "his thumb on the pulse of this Nation?" What a joke!!! Trump claims he is a billionaire, but he's constantly begging for money to pay his bills. He claims to be a Christian, but he knows nothing about Christianity. He's selling Bibles (to raise money, not because he's ever read one). He thought he sounded smart by talking about "Two Corinthians." Two??? Every Christian knows that 2 Corinthians is said "2nd Corinthians," not "Two Corinthians."

Trump lives in Trump world. He doesn't care about you.

reply

And Joe Biden doesn't care about you.. Now what?? 🤔

reply

Well, I never tried to argue that Biden cared about me, personally. He does care about people, which is more than I can say for Trump. Trump doesn't care about anyone but Trump.

reply

When during the Trump administration was gas ever $6.00 per gallon?

reply

Presidents have zero control over gas prices.

reply

Their administrations make and effect policy that influences a myriad of things all over the world. - Rocket surgery 101.

reply

Oh sure, policy can have an affect, but the President cannot control gas prices.

Gas prices were high when Biden first took office, but they have come down since. Unemployment is down. Inflation is down. Things are better :-)

reply

Wrong and you know it.

reply

I'm right, and I know it.

Biden blames 'Putin's price hike,' says gas prices shouldn't depend on his committing 'genocide'

And your point is ... ?

Is your point that the President, alone, cannot control gas prices?

Is your point that if the leader of another sovereign company wants to raise prices on goods or services that are purchased by (independent) companies and then sold in the US, that that is also something that the President of the United States cannot control?

Is your point that we live in a global economy and that we are not the only country in the world and that other countries can make decisions that are not necessarily in the best interest of the United States?

Is your point that all of the facts I just listed also applied to Trump when he was President?

It seems like you are proving my point.

if the president has no control or authority, then why do we need a president?

You're kidding, right? Did you not take a class in US History or Civics or something? That's required in the State of Illinois.

From https://www.whitehouse.gov/about-the-white-house/our-government/the-executive-branch/

The President is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws written by Congress and, to that end, appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the Cabinet.

reply

why doesnt Joe enforce the law about illegal border crossings?

reply

Is he not enforcing the laws? Or is it that he's not seeking stricter policies?

There are more people seeking asylum in the US than there were during the previous administration, but that doesn't necessarily mean that the laws are not being enforced.

reply

Then why did the SOB try to claim credit when prices dropped (yet ironically they were still higher than they were under Trump and they still are)

reply

As President, he can influence. He cannot control.

reply

So then it was Trumps influence that kept them low during his presidency and Biden’s influence that made them go up? You’re trying to have this both ways and it’s not going to work.

reply

I don't recall saying blaming Trump or giving him credit for gas prices. I simply said that gas prices fell during the pandemic because there demand was low - because few people were driving.

reply

So therefore you would agree then that Trump’s “influence” was more effective than Biden’s? And if Biden’s influence lowered gas prices recently that would also mean his “influence” caused them to skyrocket during Summer 2021, correct?

reply

Only if you want to first give Trump "credit" for mishandling the pandemic. It was this mishandling that caused shutdowns and let to very low demand of gas. It was the low demand that led to low prices and eventually extremely high prices because oil companies were trying to make up for losses ... caused by the mishandling of the pandemic.

reply

I’m not falling for your deflection. And you’re the one who tried to establish the standard that the president has no control over gas prices as long as he’s a Democrat. I don’t have anything to justify to you seeing how this is your premise not mine. Whether or not Trump “mishandled” the Chinese virus pandemic is completely irrelevant to the discussion.

Also why are you so afraid to answer my question?

I will be more than happy however to discuss the pandemic once you admit that Biden destroyed the economy, had record high gas prices under his watch, and had presided under the worst foreign invasion at our Southern Border in US history.

reply

Gas prices are much more complicated. they can be influenced by presidents, but they are controlled by oil companies, the politics of other countries and the global economy.

Giving credit to or blaming a president is giving that individual far more power than he actually has.

Explaining why your question is assuming things that are simply not true, is not deflection.

I will be more than happy however to discuss the pandemic once you admit that Biden destroyed the economy, had record high gas prices under his watch, and had presided under the worst foreign invasion at our Southern Border in US history.

That's pretty childish, but if that's how you see it, ok. It sounds like you're not really interested in discussing at all. You just want to try to get people to admit that you're right and they're wrong without actually being interested in the truth.

reply

So which is it? Does the president deserve credit for low gas prices? You have to admit one of the following: A) Trump deserves credit for his “influence” lowering gas prices after the disaster of Obummer. or B) Biden was wrong for trying to take credit for prices dropping slightly after they hit record highs. You aren’t wearing way out of this one.

reply

1. Trump did not cause gas prices to drop, the pandemic did.

2. Biden did not cause gas prices to drop, but he did work with the Federal Reserve to reduce inflation.

reply

1. Gas prices were low under Trump throughout his whole presidency, it wasn’t the pandemic you liar.

2.So Biden deserves credit for making the inflation he caused less bad?Summer 2021 gas prices were twice as high as they were under Trump and it happened on your presidents watch. You are grasping at straws here.

You never answered my question, which is true: A) Trump deserves credit for lower gas prices than they were under Obummer or B) Biden doesn’t deserve credit for Gas prices falling slightly after he presided over the highest gas prices in US history. FYI: they are still almost a dollar higher than they were throughout the Trump years.

Quit being a chickenshit and own up to it.

reply

Come back after you take Econ 101. Then you'll have a better understanding of why everything you said is wrong.

FYI, Econ 101 is an entry level university course in economics. What every the field of study (math, English, biology, economics) when you put 101 after it, it means the very first course that a college student would take in that subject.

reply

So now the question is: are you too dumb to answer my question or are you too much of an intellectual coward to answer my question? My personal guess is a combination of both. You’ve shown your true colors: Biden isn’t responsible for anything bad that happens on his watch but he deserves credit when things start to suck slightly less, and then the opposite standard applies to Trump.

reply

Your question is couched is such a way that it does not allow for Trump to do anything wrong and doesn't allow for Biden to do anything right. It is also based on a false premise that the President can cause instantaneous changes in the economy.

So, I am neither being "dumb" nor an "intellectual coward."

I do find it very sad that you would say "intellectual coward," as if there is a reason that an intelligent person should be afraid. Are you one of those people who think that education is somehow a bad thing? That learning and growing is somehow not something to strive for or be proud of or admire? There are many, many ways that people can positively contribute to society without seeking higher education, but our society can only grow if people are willing to learn and explore and grow. A society cannot grow if higher education is looked down upon.

reply

My question was very straight forward and simple. The problem is you want everything to be Trumps fault while on the other hand no one in your cult is ever responsible for their own actions and failed policies.you are an intellectual coward, and it seems most on this forum share my analysis.

Didn’t Obama say it was easier to buy a Glock than a book? Get over it because nothing Trump said was as moronic as what Obama and Biden say on a daily basis. I’m also sure you’re taking his words out of context like you people did after Charlottesville and J6.

reply

Just because other people say stupid things does not mean that Trump is less stupid or not stupid. Why can't they all be stupid?

The reason you are confused is that you are a member of the MAGA cult that is devoted to kissing Trump's ass.

I am not a cult member, so I can see that all politicians can be liars, untrustworthy, etc. But you are a cult member who thinks Trump can do not wrong.

Trump said he would build a wall and Mexico would pay for it. Did it mean something else? Was he lying or did he just change his mine?
When Trump said he would ban bump stocks and did so by classifying them as contraband machine guns, that was something that did not happen? Am I taking what Trump said out of context?
When Trump campaigned on putting Clinton in prison, but decided not to as soon as he got the electoral vote, that was not a lie? Did the "Hillary for Prison" promise mean something else?

reply

First of all there is no such thing as a “MAGA cult”. MAGA literally means “Make America Great Again” which is a very rational and level headed position. The fact that you are against MAGA is disturbing.

What Obama said was 100x more stupid than anything Trump ever said and the fact that you are ignoring it makes me think you’re the one who’s part of some kind of cult.

The far left was doing everything they could to undermine Trumps efforts to build a wall, it’s kind of stupid for you now to be attacking him for not finishing the wall. Or are you now conceding that. Wall is good?

You still haven’t proven Trump has tried to ban or seize any weapons. I asked you to provide the exact quote and you conveniently tried to weasel your way out of it.

I actually do agree with you, he should have put Hillary in prison. He was wrong not to do that, there are you happy?

reply

It is a cult. The first rule of MAGA cult is that no one can be against it.

I did not ignore what Obama said. I said it was stupid.

Trump promised us a wall. He did not promise us a wall as long as the democrats went along with it. Why is it the default position of MAGA that when Trump breaks a promise, that it was someone else's fault and not Trump's?

I think the wall is stupid. It does not stop people from going over, under, around or through it. It does not stop anyone from over staying their visa, which is what most illegals are in the USA.

So are you saying that the bump stock ban was fake? I've heard that one before. How do you think the bump stock ban was accomplish if Trump did not have it done using the authority of the executive branch?

I provided a link (in another thread), I quoted the part where Trump ordered the ATF to amend the CFR. What else do you need?

No, as long as Trump is a lying SOB and refuses to atone, I am angry. Why are you so fine with Trump's lies?

Here is the ATF rule that trump ordered to be written. https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2018-12-26/pdf/2018-27763.pdf It specifies exactly how Trump accomplished his gun grab.

On February 20, 2018, the President issued a memorandum to the Attorney General concerning ‘‘bump fire’’ stocks and similar devices. Application of the Definition of Machinegun to ‘‘Bump Fire’’ Stocks and Other Similar Devices, 83 FR 7949. The memorandum noted that the Department of Justice had already ‘‘started the process of promulgating a Federal regulation interpreting the definition of ‘machinegun’ under Federal law to clarify whether certain bump stock type devices should be illegal.’’

reply

The first rule of MAGA is no one can be against it? Please show me your source.

I never said you can’t be against “Make America Great Again”, I said you’re a radical if you are and that must mean you hate America.

That’s not what I said, I said it’s pretty stupid for you people to attack him for not finishing the wall when you never supported it in the first place. So are walls good or not? You people keep changing your positions. Also thanks for proving my point, Trump says hes going to build a wall you people lose your minds, he doesn’t finish the wall you people lose your minds.

No I’m saying that you haven’t proved he tried to initiate any kind of bump stock ban, you showed me a quote saying a memorandum exists, that’s hearsay.

LOL, the truth is you just have TDS and lying clearly isn’t a big problem for you because the far left lie to us constantly, yet you don’t seem to have much of a problem with them.

Again your quote says a memorandum exists. May I see this memorandum. You are posting hearsay.

reply

It is a pop culture reference. Never mind. But you're a MAGA cult member and telling me how to behave. :)

Trump promised us a wall. He lied. Obama said we could keep our doctor under the ACA, he lied. Are you the only person on this forum who thinks politicians don't lie? I never claimed I did not have a problem with politicians lying.

Are you aware of the power the president has? The president is the one who (through various agencies like the ATF) can enact regulations to enforce the law. This is one of those things that everyone is supposed to learn in high school. How is it that you failed to learn this?

Here is the memo. I think you're going to claim it is fake. https://www.cnbc.com/2018/02/20/trump-signs-a-memo-telling-attorney-general-sessions-to-ban-devices-that-turn-weapons-into-machine-guns.html

You will notice that Trump correctly claims that the Obama administration refused to ban bump stocks. But trump decided he wanted his own gun grab. Since the president can't make law, if he wants a gun grab, then he needs to classify the thing he wants to grab, as something that is already banned.

In 1986 Reagan signed the FOPA which closed the civilian machine gun registry. If your machine guns is not registered, then it is illegal. So when Trump had the ATF classify bump stocks as machine guns in 2018, they were declared contraband and had to be surrendered or destroyed.

Bush did the same things in 2006 for spring loaded bump stocks. https://www.atf.gov/firearms/docs/ruling/2006-2-classification-devices-exclusively-designed-increase-rate-fire/download

Biden did it to forced reset triggers in 2022. https://www.atf.gov/firearms/docs/open-letter/all-ffls-mar-2022-open-letter-forced-reset-triggers-frts/download

reply

Again there is no such thing as a MAGA cult, it literally means “Make America Great Again” which should be a phrase everyone should be behind but you people are radical, Anti-American traitors which is disturbing. The far left however is acting more and more like cultists/Nazis every day it seems.

Oh so he knew the Wall wouldn’t get built? In order for him to have lied he would have had to have known from the beginning it wouldn’t be built, show me the proof he knew it wouldn’t be built? So if you’re against the wall and it didn’t’ get built then what’s your problem? You should approve of this. Again you’re proving my point that no matter what Trump does you’ll moan and complain about it. Sounds like you’re the cultist, you must hate Donald Trump no matter what.

You posted an article from CNBC, that’s not a memo.

A bump stock isn’t a gun, you are lying by stating he tried to initiate a “gun grab”. You people have cried and moaned about guns being legal yet when Trump allegedly tries to “grab guns” (something you should agree with), you’re still against it.

Also you’re the one who brought up this alleged “gun grab”, it’s not something I ever claimed didn’t happen which is a very odd debate tactic by you. You’re attempting to take me down a rabbit hole and it’s beyond obvious.

Obama said it was easier to buy a Glock than a book which is not only an incredibly idiotic thing to say it’s also an outright lie and you need to acknowledge that.

reply

You're in a cult. Get used to it.

I think Trump had no intention of building a wall and getting Mexico to pay for it or of putting Clinton in prison. Trump made no credible effort to build the wall or get Mexico to pay for it. He also changed his mind on putting Clinton in prison before he was sworn in. All that was just empty promises to get elected. Trump thinks that you, KingBob, are an idiot for believing him.

Trump brags about being a proud rapist. I will always hate rapists.

I don't have a paper copy of Trump's memos, will the Federal Register do?

Memorandum of February 20, 2018

Application of the Definition of Machinegun to “Bump Fire” Stocks and Other Similar Devices

Memorandum for the Attorney General

After the deadly mass murder in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 1, 2017, I asked my Administration to fully review how the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives regulates bump fire stocks and similar devices.

Although the Obama Administration repeatedly concluded that particular bump stock type devices were lawful to purchase and possess, I sought further clarification of the law restricting fully automatic machineguns.

Accordingly, following established legal protocols, the Department of Justice started the process of promulgating a Federal regulation interpreting the definition of “machinegun” under Federal law to clarify whether certain bump stock type devices should be illegal. The Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking was published in the Federal Register on December 26, 2017. Public comment concluded on January 25, 2018, with the Department of Justice receiving over 100,000 comments.

Today, I am directing the Department of Justice to dedicate all available resources to complete the review of the comments received, and, as expeditiously as possible, to propose for notice and comment a rule banning all devices that turn legal weapons into machineguns.

Although I desire swift and decisive action, I remain committed to the rule of law and to the procedures the law prescribes. Doing this the right way will ensure that the resulting regulation is workable and effective and leaves no loopholes for criminals to exploit. I would ask that you keep me regularly apprised of your progress.

You are authorized and directed to publish this memorandum in the

Federal Register.

LOL, I am not a member of any cult. You’re just making stuff up, there is no such thing as a MAGA cult and if you think that MAGA constitutes a “cult” then it sounds like you’re the cult member as MAGA literally means Make America Great Again, it sounds like you don’t want to make America great which makes you a traitor.

I already conceded that he should have put Hillary in prison.

He bragged about being a rapist? What is wrong with you? Biden molested his daughter in the shower and Hillary made jokes about getting a pedophile cleared of all charges.

You said he was grabbing legally owned guns now you’re only arguing about bump stocks. So are you now admitting that you lied when he tried to institute a “gun grab”?

Here’s the definition of “gun”: a weapon incorporating a metal tube from which bullets, shells, or other missiles are propelled by explosive force, typically making a characteristic loud, sharp noise. A bump stock does not “propel bullets shells or other missiles”, it’s not a gun which makes you a liar. Also I never said I agree with Trump on everything which renders the definition of gun a pointless discussion, you however hate him on every point, you are an angry, unhinged far left , cultist.

I did not bring up “gun grabs” at all, I pointed out a far more idiotic thing that Obama said and then you tried to steer the conversation in a very odd direction because you knew that Obama made an ass of himself. Also are you now conceding that I’m right and Obama is a liar? I need to hear you say it.

reply

Yep, you're in a cult. You protest too much to not be in one. :)

I know other people are rapists. What does that have to do with Trump?

Bump stocks are guns now, just like Biden had forced reset trigger defined as guns. That is how they accomplished their gun grabs, as classifying them as contraband machine guns. Have you learned nothing today? I posted those links so you could learn something, not so you could keep on babbling nonsense.

Did you read the ATF firearm Reference guide I posted? It contains all of the federal governments definitions of guns except for the most recent ones which include bump stocks and forced reset triggers.

If you read the actual law, you will see that firearms consist of things other than those that go bang. Firearms include silencers, silencer parts, parts solely for use in a machine gun and some other NFA firearms, and drop in auto sears as well as other stuff.

So Trump is a liar when he says bump stocks are machine guns? Remember, the only way Trump could ban bump stocks was to classify them as contraband machine guns. I quoted where he said this in the ATF's final rule on the bump stock ban and in his memo that I quoted above.

How else do you think bump stocks got banned? It was not Congress, it was all Trump.

I don't care if you agree on Trump about anything. You have been vigorously defending Trump by claiming he did not grab guns.

Trump is just as proud of his gun grab as he is of his pussy grabbing. Are you trying to take that away from him?

Of course Obama is a liar; when did I ever claim Obama did not lie? Perhaps you can quote me where I said it? Why would I ever disagree with you on that? I know for a fact that all politicians in DC lie. Can you think of any that do not?

reply

LOL, so disagreeing with you constitutes a cultist? In that case you’re protesting with me quite a bit so what does that say about you?

Who did Trump rape? Keep in mind even if you prove he raped someone you still elected a man who molested his daughter in the shower giving you very little moral authority in this scenario.

I showed you the definition of a gun, a bump stock isn’t a gun. It can change a gun but that doesn’t make it a gun. You’re a liar and you need to come clean. At this point you have nothing to lose.

Read the definition of a gun, a SUPPRESSOR and a Bump Stock do not meet the criteria and you can’t blow someone’s head off with just a suppressor or just a bump stock, you need the GUN!

I’m not here to defend Trump, as I previously stated many times I dont’ agree with him on everything like not putting crooked Hillary in federal prison, so your entire “did Trump lie” argument is pointless at best.

Show me where I said he didn’t ban guns? I said you haven’t proven he banned guns and you still haven’t. There’s a difference.

So therefore you’re conceding that I’m right that Obama is a liar?

reply

Trump brags about sexually assaulting women as a perk of wealth. I don't need to say anything else. Are you calling Trump a liar?

Who did I elect? I did not vote for Trump or Biden. Why are you making claims you have no reason to believe are true?

You are here to vigorously defend Trump.

How many times do I have to tell you that Obama is a liar before you agree with me?

I posted the link to the AFT final rule which describes how Trump grabbed guns. Try reading it.

What definition of a gun are you using? Which law are you quoting?

GCA 1968 title 18 chapter 44

The term “firearm” means
(A) any weapon (including a starter gun)which will or is designed to or may readily be converted to expel a projectile by the action of an explosive;
(B) the frame or receiver of any such weapon;
(C) any firearm muffler or firearm silencer; or
(D) any destructive device.
Notice how the law says a silencer is a firearm?

https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-27/chapter-II/subchapter-B/part-447/subpart-B/section-447.11
A “machinegun”, “machine pistol”, “submachinegun”, or “automatic rifle” is a firearm which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger. .... The term “machinegun” includes a bump-stock-type device....

It says in the CFR that a bump stock is a machine gun. I cannot make it more clear to you.

reply

How many times do I have to say this: I don’t agree with Trump on everything unlike how you disagree with him on everything just because he is for it. You’re arguing things I never claimed. However you are currently supporting someone who molested his daughter in the shower. Now how much sense does this make? Touching a woman’s pussy is wrong, but raping your own daughter in the shower is OK? WTF is wrong with you?

I’m here to vigorously defend Trump yet I have pointed out many things I’ve disagreed with him on? You’re lying as per usual.

And I was right the whole time, correct?

I showed you the definition of a gun, a suppressor or a bump stock by themselves are not guns. Suppressors and Bump Stocks cannot discharge a projectile by themselves. Also I’ll say again that you are arguing a non sequitur because I never said Trump was perfect and there were things he did that I disagreed with him on. Even if you win this one you still would not have accomplished anything.

reply

Where did I support Biden? I never voted for him. I'm calling Biden a gun grabber. Why do you think that is support of Biden?

You showed me your definition of a gun. It is incomplete. Are you disagreeing with the government's definition of a gun?

I'm trying to convince you that your opinion of what is a gun is not the same as federal law.

Do you believe the federal law I quoted? Federal law says a silencer is a gun. Federal law (and Trump) say a bump stock is a gun. How can I make it more clear to you?

reply

I saw your post history, when I see you attack Biden and the far left with the same enthusiasm as you’ve attacked and smeared Trump then maybe I’ll believe you.

It’s not my definition of a gun, it’s the actual definition of a gun, I didn’t write that definition. A suppressor/bump stock are firearm accessories, not actual firearms.

You’re a liar, you said Trump tried to grab legally owned guns, you haven’t proven he did.

reply

I don't care if you believe that I support Biden. My personal lack of support is enough for me and I don't care what you or anyone thinks about it.

Who wrote the definition of a gun that you posted? Unless you attribute that definition to someone, then it is yours.

Surely you understand what plagiarism is? You need to give credit for the definition of a gun to someone, or else it is your own.

So when the federal government says silencers and bump stocks are firearms, they are lying?

I have posted link after link of how Trump banned bump stocks by classifying them as contraband machine guns. I cannot lead you to the truth if you refuse to see it.

reply

Here you go, it’s a “gun accessory”: https://apnews.com/article/supreme-court-bump-stocks-atf-weapons-9d881998cbf454f5707f46e52153398e

reply

So AP News is the law of the land now? What about the US Code and the Code of Federal Regulations?

Do you really expect anyone to believe that AP News is the authority on the definitions of a gun, and not federal law?

reply

However in case you care: No I do not agree with Trump for trying to ban Bump Stocks, this also proves nothing because I never once said I agreed with him by default unlike you who disagree with him by default. I said from the beginning that he was wrong to not throw crooked Hillary in federal prison. You are also a liar when you said he tried to “grab” legally owned guns, he didn’t. You are a dishonest, far left lemming.

Trump banned bump stocks by declaring them to be contraband machine guns. Here is the link to how he did it again.

Do you even know how to read? What part of I don’t agree with everything Trump did by default do you not get? I mean I’ve said this like 8 times and I was very clear every time. You are either A) Mentally challenged or B) Trolling me.

reply

You keep on claiming that Trump is not a gun grabber because bump stocks are not guns. But that is how Trump banned bump stocks, by classifying them as contraband firearms.

I think you are trolling the forum.

reply

Did you not read where I said I disagree with trying to ban bump stocks? But they aren’t guns, they are gun accessories, they cannot propel a projectile as the definition states. My point still stands, you people flip out no matter what Trump does because you have severe cases of TDS.

And since you care about the 2nd amendment so much Im kind of confused why you aren’t speaking out against the modern day left who are far more anti second amendment than Trump is. Again it’s clearly the TDS.

reply

How do you think Trump was able to ban bump stocks unless he classified them as guns? Do you understand how the bump stock ban was accomplished?

I do speak out against anyone who grabs guns. Did you notice that I opposed Biden's gun grab? Surely you still think Biden is a leftist?

reply

Never said Trump was right, also are you now arguing that if Trump asserts something it is true?

You have not attacked Biden with even a close degree of the same passion in which you have smeared Trump. And Biden is a far left radical who is also the puppet of even more far left radicals. I am willing to go as far as to call Trump center-right, but that’s the best you’re going to get.

reply

You're being evasive. Was Trump telling the truth or not?

How is it that you seem to be completely unaware of how Trump accomplished his gun grab, but you still think it was okay that he did so?

Biden does not have the same kind of syophants and cult that Trump seems to have. When I attack Biden for his anti-gun agenda, no one is attacking me with the zeal that MAGA's do.

reply

lol the entire far left is the very definition of a cult. They literally worship the far left cult leaders , while Trump is one of the very few politicians who has anything resembling common sense. The way you people slobbered over Obama is even further proof. I also never said I agreed with Trump on everything however he is a far more competent president than Biden or anyone from the far left.

All Trump wants is to provide an opportunity for every American to be successful and to provide a safe and secure country, sounds very reasonable. Biden on the other hand is a radical far left extremist who wants to give comfort to thugs, domestic terrorists, pedophiles and child groomers. Not to mention they literally want to restart the Holocaust

reply

Perhaps you can explain, your own own words, and supported by the ATF rule or the CFR, how bump stocks were banned?

I still think you don't understand how it was done and have not the faintest clue how the government works.

reply

I already said I don’t agree with Trump on everything, you are arguing things I never tried to convince you of.

reply

You're trying to convince me that bump stocks are not guns and that Trump is not a gun grabber.

reply

A Bump Stock is not a gun, it doesn’t fit the definition and since they aren’t guns Trump never tried to “grab guns” like the left repeatedly says they are going to do. You’re arguing nonsense and you are trying to deflect.

reply

Trump says a bump stock is a gun. How else was he able to ban them?

Do you actually understand how Trump's gun grab worked? Of do you think the bump stock ban was also fake?

reply

So if Trump says something it’s true?

Trump didn’t institute a gun grab, bump stocks are not guns under the very definition. Can a bump stock propel a bullet, shell, or other missile by explosive force as per the definition?

reply

I provided a link to the regulation that Trump had amended that says bump stocks are machine gun.

How do you think Trump was able to ban bump stocks anyway?

Trump had bump stocks classified as firearms and since they were not able to be registered, they were contraband.

Why are you telling me that bump stocks are not guns when Trump is the one saying that they are indeed guns? It seem that you're calling Trump a liar. Are you?

Can you quote the law you're using to define guns?

reply

I don’t need to quote any law, I quoted the exact definition, a bump stock isn’t a gun and I also never said I agree with Trump by default unlike you people who hate him and want him dead no matter what he does.

reply

Trump says a bump stock is a gun. Was Trump lying when he said this? I've already posted the link where he says this, so I'm not going to do it again.

The CFR and the ATF also say that bump stocks are guns. This is how they banned them, by classifying them as contraband machine guns.

Are you also going to claim forced reset triggers are not guns, so that you can claim Biden is not an anti-gun SOB like Trump?

I do not agree with any gun grab. It does not matter who does it. The last three gun grabs in the USA were by Bush, Trump and Biden. I disagree with them all. If you agree with gun grabs, then you are an anti-gun zealot, like Trump and Biden.

You brought up guns first, above in your post.

And you're an antifa/BLM member. See how that works?

reply

I see how it works. I've been called much worse for opposing Trump's anti-gun agenda before.

I never did get what was wrong with being anti-fascist these days. Americans went to war to defeat fascists back in the 1940's. Is opposing fascism really that bad today?

Are you really waving a nazi flag in your yard, chilone?

reply

Don't tell me you think antifa is an anti-fascist group. If you're oit playing coy, here's a little inside info: They're actually fascists.

reply

Ohhhhhhhhh. What information do you have that no one else does?

Are you claiming that this article is not correct? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifa_(United_States)

I still want to know more about the nazi flag you are flying.

Is opposing fascism really that bad today?

reply

They're anti-fascist in the same way a 400lb, guy is known as "Tiny". But you know this.

PLEASE! Provide evidence of me flying a nazi flag. What? You can't? Ahh, so you're talking out of your ass.

reply

I thought you posted a confession. See how that works?

So the Americans who fought the nazis in Germany during WWII were also fascists in your opinion?

I suppose you have some evidence to support your claims about antifa today?

reply

Google is your friend, but you already know. I assume you support antifa.

reply

Assume what you wish. Tell me more about why anti-fascists are actually nazis?

reply

Go away, leftist. You're beyond reason.

reply

I will never go away. Sucks to be you.

reply

No. Being me is awesome.

reply

Well, intelligent people listen to intelligent people.

That counts leftists out on both counts. Period.

reply

Cheap insults do not prove intelligence. Well formed arguments do prove intelligence. Perhaps you’d like to try again?

reply

I have this sneaking suspicion, that even if this poster were to give you a well formed argument, you still wouldn't accept it and rinse & repeat?? 🙄

reply

On the contrary, I very much respect and appreciate intelligent arguments. I may have a different opinion, but I will accept factual points.

When someone resorts to name calling and insults, it’s generally because they either do not have any evidence to back up their claim or do not know how to articulate the argument.

reply

I have noticed more people using the "Skavau" technique. I might try and implement this and see what happens.

Sure ... what is it?

Sorry, not trying to be difficult. I just don't know what you're talking about.

reply

its a advanced AI chat bot, here is the basic theory.

1. disagree with anything the poster says
2. ask for evidence
3. reject evidence for any reason
4. ask a question
5. ask a unrelated question

you basically get stuck in a loop because you are constantly answering #5

Well, that's not completely different from my experience with you. Anytime you don't like the question (or don't know the answer), you pretend you didn't notice that you were asked a question. If you're called on it, you go back and edit your posts.

reply

you know this is untrue and I always answer the question. you just dont like the answer. please post evidence of this. what makes you think that I edit my posts? in general do you notice if other people edit their posts and how does this affect the outcome of the conversation?

It really is true. There have been several times where you went back and changed all of your answer so that they matched my next post, exactly.

For example, if I said, "I love the Chicago Cubs," you would change the post right before mine to say, "I love the Chicago Cubs." I suppose you do this to try to make it look like I'm just repeating you, even though I wasn't.

Feel free to post that anytime, by the way. The Cubs are awesome!

reply

I disagree with this assessment and saying I edit my posts is not evidence. please provide concrete evidence of this. how am I able to edit my posts? if the Cubs are awesome then what are their chances of winning the world series?

reply

how am I able to edit my posts?

By clicking on “edit,” changing what you previously typed, then clicking “submit.”

if the Cubs are awesome then what are their chances of winning the world series?

Oy, you got me on this one. I don’t know what their chances are, but I’m still going to root for them and have a great time doing so :-)

reply

this is undeniably wrong, please provide actual evidence of this. what makes you think that I edit my posts? if the cubs do win the world series, how will this affect baseball in general?

reply

I forgot to tell you that I was using the "Skavau" technique.

I don't know what that means, either. But I do get that you think you're being clever. (Failing miserable, but kudos for trying? I guess?)

reply

thats because I am streets ahead.

reply

Gotcha. Sad.

reply

its not my fault.

reply

The far left insisted on those. Also if the Democrats had listened to Trump in January 2020 when he warning about the threat of Covid instead of being focused on their first fake impeachment then the lockdowns may not have been needed.

reply

What was Trump's advice in January 2020?

reply

Assemble a task force and institute a travel ban which the left called racist and xenophobic all the while being far more concerned with fake impeachments.

reply

Did he assemble a task force?
Did he institute a travel ban?

reply

https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/issues/coronavirus/

reply

Yes, he did those things and we still had a disaster. Your point?

reply

If he hadn’t done those things and if the left had their way it would have been a lot worse and more people would have died. Trump was the only adult in the room showing leadership.

reply

If, if, if, if... That's what you've got?

reply

Nope, I’ve got the facts.

reply

You were just speculating about what you think might have happened if certain events had been different than what really happened. Those aren't facts, they are speculation.

reply

It’s not speculation at all. The left was playing petty political games while Trump was taking the threat of the virus/China seriously. If it hadn’t been for Trump the death toll would have been far higher, that is indisputable.

reply

I'm better off every year, no matter who was in office. My net worth keeps on growing year after year.

reply

Gas was so cheap during the pandemic because Trump allowed the state governors to shut down their economies so much that demand for gas dropped, a lot. Trump claimed he could have kept the economy open, but refused to do so.

reply

I suppose there are the exceptions such as with the OP who most likely got more than their fair share of stimulus money then a paying gig to haunt sites such as this one.

reply

That is a fair question you know?? To all of the liberals and folks on the Left: What did you do with that $1200.00 Stimulus Check Trump sent you?? Well?? I mean afterall, if you hate Trump so much wouldn't you have given that check away instead of spending it and please?? Don't fucking lie either because you know you did??

reply

Some got much more than 1,200 dollars. Reports were that some got into the millions whether that was legitimate or not for each person. I would imagine that some greatly abused the program.

reply

"Reports were that some got into the millions"

Are you thinking of the Payroll Protection Program? That went to businesses.

reply

I didn't get a stimulus check.

reply

Trump helped cause the inflation due to his spending trillions.

reply

😂 And yet, you're Ok with Biden sending hundreds of Billions of dollars to Ukraine, right??

reply

No, you must have me confused with someone else.

reply

I don't know about the spending causing inflation. The federal government pours dozens of trillions of dollars into the economy over a decade and there was no inflation. I'm not an economist but it seems to me that the top 0.01% managed to suck off a lot of this money into their own pockets by disrupting established business patterns and this may have averted inflation.
Trump did put other upward pressures on prices - his own tax cuts, lots of tariffs and cutting off cheap labor by cutting down on immigration were all inflationary.
It wasn't until Russian invaded Ukraine and disrupted energy supplies that inflation kicked in.

reply

Yes, things were better off under Trump in spite of having the entire establishment resist him on a daily basis about almost everything while constantly been surrounded by treasonous vipers.

reply

I have always wondered how much better America would have been if the dems had worked with Trump and not try to illegally remove him...

reply

Impeachment is not illegal. It is Constitutional. If it was illegal, then Trump would have had them arrested and put in prison. He said he could.

reply

Better off now than 2020 yes, better off now than 2017-2019, no, I miss the way things were before the pandemic.

reply

So, let's just forget about the bad stuff. Like permanently separating babies from their parents. Turning the courts over to corporate control and to b religious zealots who want to put the government in our bedrooms. Destabilizing our international alliances. Good times

reply

Who buys toilet paper on the black market?!
That didn't even happen here during the so-called 'pandemic'. 😎
Just a few fights in the supermarkets over the last rolls. ☺

reply

people were selling tp on Ebay for 50 to a 100 bucks. there was one joker who was selling 3 sheets for $10. it was pretty funny.

I realized that the hand sanitizer I was using was made in china, the irony! lol

reply

They got you! 🇨🇳 ☺

Yah, there were some really good Covid jokes! 😃
Also the 'serious warning' not to leave toilet paper rolls visible in the car.
This could constitute an inducement to commit a crime.

reply

people were also stealing TP from work too, it was those giant round rolls.

reply

This decline in morals and decency inevitably led to the theft of the giant gold coin.

(please don't mind the plot hole...impossible timeline ☺)

But the giant gold coin really remains missing...as the toilet paper! 🪙

reply

Why were you spending so much on toilet paper? You're the joker.

reply

You're right...he's not worth a sheet of toilet paper. 🙃

reply

No. I am better off now. My net worth has increased every year in the last 40 years.

I am middle class and managed to make safe conservative investments that will enable me to enjoy a happy stress free retirement.

reply

Are you married? 🥺

reply

I have been single, married, divorced and remarried in those 40 years. Why does that matter? I raised and educated two children during that time also. Why would anyone be shocked that an American can be successful no matter which idiot is in office?

reply

I'm neither "shocked" nor surprised.

reply

Good going! Me too!
