The king will do more in a month than you will do.in a lifetime.

God save the king 🤴

All of my life, all of my sister's life, and most of my father's life, all we've ever known about the British Royal Family is Queen Elizabeth II. It's going to be so strange getting used to going from the Queen to King Charles III.

reply

No more of her wonderful smile, Christmas messages, corgis by her side, colour dresses, beautiful laughter and kindness, so sad.

reply

True :(

reply

I'm American, but that's been my overall opinion as well. She always seemed like a sweet person, whereas with Prince Charles I felt more indifference or even a slightly negative opinion.

reply

Id say most yanks are more patriotic of our monarchy than some unpatriotic brits, see below comment from LiquidOcelot, send him to the gallows

reply

I like you, you are a respectful person.
Also I am willing to help you in any way; I can send you pictures of some asses and you can print and kiss them so your master can appreciate you more.

reply

It's so heart warming how this sad event is bringing people together like this.

reply

I think it makes people feel more edgy, or there so sad with life they sow discord to boost there ego.

reply

It's called keyboard cowards. The people that post this stuff are brave behind their computers, but face-to-face, cowards that would never say such things.

reply

Are you implying that a person that disputes the fact that people should act like humble, loyal subjects to some monarch is a coward, because if he does so publicly there will be negative consequences?
Some other guy here said that without monarchy liberty does not exist .
Can you spot the problem here ?

reply

The monarch has done more good than any other institution on gods green earth, without the monarchy liberty does not exsist, the british empire abolished slavery in the west, brought the industrial revolution to the rest of the world, perhaps you read to much noise on twitter which is you're master.

reply

Im not even debating if monarchy did good or bad. Probably if you or soneone else had the same power they had you would have done better.
You personally have no liberty regarding political decisions at a high level, therefore you have a master. Same master can take good decisions if youre lucky, or bad, and you just accept them like a good subject.
So, it makes me wonder, if you have no say in these decisions, what drives you to admire people who dont give the slightest about you?

reply

Because i reside in the same country as they do and from the day i was born have benefited from them overseeing the constitution they were head of, im sure they care for every individual that resides in the commonwealth and beyond.

reply

Every man and women and child on earth is governed, even tribes off radar have a master, you are govered also, just glad i was govered by the queen and now the king, hip hip, hazar

reply

Well if it makes you happy, what can I say ? Enjoy

A constitutional monarchy and the King's role:

In a monarchy, the king or queen is the head of state. However, as the UK has a constitutional monarchy, the ability to make and pass legislation belongs to Parliament rather than the King.

The monarch retains a symbolic role in government. They formally open Parliament every year, and when the government passes a bill, it cannot become an Act of Parliament until it receives their stamp of approval, a process called Royal Assent. In reality, though, no monarch has refused to give Royal Assent since 1708, when Queen Anne did so only at the behest of ministers.

As such, King Charles III’s formal duties are largely representational, such as embarking on goodwill visits abroad and hosting foreign heads of state. The monarch’s main role is to serve as a vital part of Britain’s “national identity, unity and pride”, says the official royal website, royal.uk.

reply

Fucking loser.

reply

Explain why im a loser for wishing my king good luck?

reply

Because your mentality is outdated and that of a sheep. What exactly are you supporting him on? Living a life of luxury on the taxpayers dime? The royal family don't make political decisions anymore, there's nothing to support.

reply

Jesus Christ you kids these days don't have a clue do you, read some nonsense on twitter, who's the sheep? for 1000 years the monarchy has acted as a focus for national identity, unity and pride for Britain, I mean were a small Island but a powerful nation, look at all the charities they have supported, the princess trust, helping young people get into job, climate change. A monarchy is regarded as one of the most stable forms of government.

Seriously you edge lords need to get a grip, the whole world mourns the queens death, why is that?

reply

Oh shut up dipshit, all you've done is dance around the point. Who's talking about 1000 years ago? I'm talking about today. The monarchy 1000 years ago is not what it is today. Today they make zero political decisions, so again I ask you, what are you supporting him on? Absolutely nothing.

How much do they actually give to charity from their own pocket? More than the taxpayer's money they receive every year? I very much doubt it. Showing up to glitzy events as a patron is not the same as giving your hard earned money to charity. The average Joe giving his money/time for charity is more commendable than any member of the Royal Family. Very easy to turn up to glitzy charity events when you've never had to work a real day of work in your life. Now keep being a sheep and kissing Royal ass.

reply

Dipshit, pleasant charming chap aren't you, you young hipsters are so easily pressed these days, i pay around £1.50 per year to the Monarchy which is absolutely fine by me, I pay a hell of a lot more to fund people that cant be bothered to work and for the council to take my crap away.

God save the king!!!

reply

Again, dancing around the point. The moment you're pressed you shrivel up like the pathetic little brown-noser you are.

reply

They do make political decisions, just not that many, that's why they appoint a head of goverment, proud to be British and proud of my Monarchy.

God save the king ......hazzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzaaaaar

reply

What if the king go to your house and want to have a sexual sandwich with your wife and sister? Would you serve him as well?

reply

By your command sire

reply

The queens life and rule was an impressive failure... They went from a super power that controlled the globe down to a tiny island with the indigenous inhabitants being replaced by millions of Pakies

reply

Thats down to government policy, but yes i agree some what of your statement, we were invaded in the 50s , 60s, now the 80% of our population is at the mercy of the invaders

reply

Your "kingdom" will soon go down in flames.
As I predicted before brexit.
It's good to be right.
