I've always been involved in politics. Even in the 90's, we LGBT activists called ourselves queer.

Exactly that! An impression I gained years ago from his videos and clips.
While I agree with him on many political issues or view points, I never trusted him. He always came across fake and his whiny, pissy manlet voice and way to "speak over" people in debates whenever he got cornered by a good point gave it away how dishonest he is. He's so very clearly a narcissist. A "trend" these days, it seems.
I also agree that one must be careful to judge when one doesn't know the full picture, but whatever she has done or not - you do not treat people like that, especially not your wife and even less so your pregnant wife. The way she speaks to her makes it completely clear that he thinks to be in control of her and not really think that highly of her, to put it mildly. A mentally stable man would not say the things he said, that's no way to argue with anyone.
This was honestly difficult to watch and I hope he's done now.
I am as conservative/right wing as it gets, but I am afraid due to partisan politics, many will stand by him no matter what.
Personally, he's dead to me and I won't believe whatever he might do or say in response to this... or anything.
Men acting like that are a complete disgrace for the rest of us who wouldn't treat a person like that in the worst fever dream.
