I'm trying to remember if he had been sick for a long time or if he just very convincingly played the role over someone who was sick.

Incredible actor, far too young to be gone.

Wow. Surprising. He was really good as Captain Holt in Brooklyn Nine Nine.

Excellent dramatic actor. Was genuinely surprised how fantastic he was in a comedic role in Brooklyn Nine Nine!

RIP.

Terrible. Rest in Peace.

My favorite role of his was as Searles, Matthew Brodericks well spoken, naive friend who joins the army, and has trouble understanding the concept of leadership versus friendship.

Some of his scenes during the training, and in conversations with Broderick make it paulinfully clear that as an enlisted man he will not be treated differently despite his friendship.

I though Braugher played this brilliantly.

reply

Yes, he was very good in that.

This is sad and unexpected. Out of nowhere. Damn. He was so good in Brooklyn Nine Nine.

I saw the news last night and felt so sad. I loved him on "Homicide." I would love to rewatch that series one day from Episode 1 to the end...what a great show and cast it was. I thought he was a great actor...RIP.
