Born in Lebanon, but grew up in Toronto. Fun fact: he grew up on a street called Spadina. Early in his career his agent said that "Keanu Reeves" wasn't a good name and should come up with a stage name, so Keanu came up with "Chuck Spadina".

Just to clarify, his parents were working in Lebanon where they met. His mom's British and dad's American. Keanu name is Hawaiian, part of his heritage - plus Chinese, Irish and Portuguese.

I hope he fired that nitwit agent.

8.5/10. He's not the best actor in the world but man, he's entertaining to watch.

Especially when he plays to his strengths. Bill & Ted, Constantine, The Matrix, Speed, John Wick & Point Break are all excellent.

He is similar to Tom Cruise (but Tom can actually act), in the sense they are the definition of a movie star. They have the look, they can do the action and they enjoy performing their own stunts.
