I love the 80's

I miss the 80's. I was just a kid in the 80's, but I love reminiscing back to that decade. It just seemed like the fairy tail decade to me, where there was a near perfect living balance. The music was still great, or perhaps at it's best! However, I'm referring specifically to rock music. People dressed uniquely, both men and women would let their hair down, quite literally lol. Since then, it seems like women's hair is matted down. And there wasn't this ridiculous political correctness and feminism. And gays were pretty much kept in closets. What was your favorite decade, and why?

My favorite decade remains The 1300s. We weren't squeamish when it came to burning people alive, so long as we found a way to label them a heretic

THEN GET IT STRAIGHT. UNFORTUNATELY MANY WOMEN IN THE WEST NOW MAKE THEMSELVES VERY DISLIKEABLE. THEY TREAT MEN LIKE CREDIT CARDS AND ATM MACHINES AND LIKE SHIT ALL AROUND. BUT i DO ADMIRE SOME WOMEN, LIKE PAULA ZAHN TOO NAME ONE. AND USEFUL ONE'S THAT KNOW HOW TO ENJOY LIFE AND SPREAD LIKE PEANUT BUTTER FOR MEN.

The Dark Ages wherein if you missed a movie at the theater, it was gone. All you could do is hope for it to come to television, or for a rerelease if it was really popular.

I love the 80s as well.
I'm also just fine with women being equals and gays having protections and marital rights.

My wife, my mom, my daughter and a great lifelong friend are all women that I greatly love, of course I want them to have personal autonomy in society.

As for gays and such I've known a bunch, never had a problem with any of the gays or bis. Lesbians CAN be a bit harsh, a lot of them seem to strongly dislike men which is why I avoid lesbians. I'm not rude, i just walk the other way.

I don't know about Gays in the closet thing, you had Culture Club, Dead or Alive, Bronski Beat, seemed it was Gays out of the closet.
