Stupid things you fear

Throwing up.

Used to be a pro when I was a kid but just the thought that it might happen when I'm sick makes me panic.

What's your stupid fear?

reply

Heights. I used to love them, but went to a trip at a cathedral and since then anything to do with being above 2 floors tall is phobic.

reply

Heights and spiders are probably top 10 fear list for most people (me included!). If you are confortable watching heights from a distance I strongly recommend thee docu

reply

face your fear & do open mic night, you may have a real talent that we all think is nonexistent

reply

I'd throw up. My nerves would get the best of me.

reply

free drinks if you're funny solves this

reply

Heights top the short list. High places make me nervous. This wasn’t the case when I was younger. Now I’m exceedingly cautious just cleaning my roof gutters.

Also, home invasion. We live in a virtually crime-free area, most of the offenses out this way are DUIs or domestic spats so the thought of a Manson Family type attack on the property is a bit ludicrous. Still, I’ve got a good cam system inside and out, a fully stocked gun collection, the world’s bitchiest little nosy dog and I check the door locks before bed every night. If some creep comes around here he won’t live to regret it.

reply

As much as I'm against guns, at least in 'Murica, you guys can protect yourself. We'll get charged here if we swear at home invaders.

reply

Be against guns all you wish, it’s our second civil right after free speech (etc,) that we have.

There ain’t a goddam house in this neighborhood that any fool would come creeping around.

It’s best that well trained civilians have plenty of weaponry, there are times when you could be on your own.

Possibly the first sign I got that I was getting old.

I can't freaking stand them.

reply

These stupid little rapscallions think they're something special. You can go up to them and ask them to sign a petition to stop performing biopsies on aliens, and they'll gladly sign it thinking they're doing something for society. They complain about working 20 hours a week and cry about it on TikTok.

reply

Unfortunately I have both of these things at my job.
