How many tattoos do you have

And how old were you when you first got one.

I have none at the moment but want a England three lions one in the future.

reply

Jonathan, where are you?

reply

Whose Jonathan?

reply

I got it. Also seems to appear when Tik Tok is mentioned.

Signed, million man.

reply

Iโ€™ve noticed that also. ๐Ÿ˜€

reply

Our resident tattoo prevention outreach coordinator.

reply

He he. Give it a minute.

Signed, million man.

reply

I'm still here, I've just been busy this past week and didn't see this thread until this morning.

I didn't know I had a fan club.

None and no plans to get one. If I had to get one, it'd be a bad ass dragon or something, on my shoulder. Nothing too big. I don't like the heavily tatted up look, but one or two smaller ones are all right.

reply

None

With the odd exception I think most tattoos people get all look the bloody same and are just a waste of money and look like an ugly mess, and you're technically putting poison into your body.

If people want a tattoo they might as well buy felt tips and start drawing on themselves, it's literally the same thing only after a few weeks it'll wash off.

reply

Exactly.

"they might as well buy felt tips and start drawing on themselves..."
That's what kids do. We did this with BIC pens in elementary school and got in big trouble for it. Obviously some children never learn and never grow up.

reply

Zero.

I'm far too commitment-phobic to get tattoos.

reply

I'm old enough to remember when the only people who got tattoos were truckers, sailors, carnies, felons and bikers.

reply

And why people want to emulate this look is beyond me. It's the modern 21st Century. We should have higher standards and aspirations by now.

reply

Zero, zip, none! I think they are odd at best and disgusting at worst.

robocat- I'm also old enough to remember that the only tattoo I saw as a child was on our neighbor who had been in the Navy.

I recently read a book by Peter Falk (of Columbo fame). He told stories about his experiences with actors, the movies he'd been in, plays, etc. He had a role in a very funny Neil Simon film, Murder by Death.

Truman Capote was in the movie and Mr. Falk said that he had interesting conversations with him. Mr. Capote had just done some research in a prison to write about the lives of inmates. Falk asked him if there was one thing all prisoners had in common. His answer was, "Yes, tattoos."

Why on earth people want to emulate the absolute dregs of society is beyond me!!!

I live in a small town with an incredible number of obese people who are covered in tattoos. I see these women whom I think of in my mind as "fat slobs" covered in tattoos. All I can think is that the money would have been better spent on a health club membership or running shoes.

Just can't figure out why these slovenly fat cows think they look so great with goofy art work all over their fat arms and legs. We live in a truly screwed up society.

reply

Too funny!
I was raised the same way, NO tats!!!

My favorite is the jackass armed robbers that commit crimes with a dragon or whatever tattooed on their faces lol.

โ€˜Oh, Iโ€™m gonna empty out a few cash registers at gunpoint today, I sure hope nobody notices the Swastika on my forehead or the Cobra on my neck!โ€™

Some idiots just belong in prison๐Ÿ˜„

reply

Have none and don't want any. My skin is too sensitive for them.

reply

None yet, but I'd love to get several.

reply

Don't do something you will regret in the future.

reply

You can't live your life afraid of regretting something or else you might as well stop living, coz regret is inevitable. Besides, very little is permanent, tattoos included.
