I think about what some people complain about with wokeness and I don't even know where woke begins anymore. If a lead in a movie that's not white, or not straight, it's woke. If the word trans comes anywhere near a project it's woke. If there is a disabled person it's woke. If an animated film isn't about a white princess it's woke. I mean, it's tiring.

I have no issues with diversity. One of my favourite tv shows had a group of 4, 1 white, 1 black, & 2 Asian. I didn't think that show was woke at all.

Gay people exist. The arts are usually a place of refuge for a lot of gay kids. It makes sense to me that there are a lot more gay people in Hollywood than there would be in the rest of the population. Maybe they are overrepresented? I don't know, and I don't care.

Most gender swapped movies, flop, so I don't think that they will be a thing for ever. I don't consider those woke, I consider them lazy.

I think that so much of this is just the extremes trying to be louder than the other side. Different people exist and they deserve representation. So much complaining.

Total straw man. Nobody has a problem with the existence of diverse characters. Woke refers to the nerfing, killing off and replacement of beloved white male heroes with new ‘diverse’ counterparts, in the last few years the following white male heroes were killed off - James Bond, Han, Luke, He-Man, John Connor, Wolverine, Iron Man, Dewey, Indiana Jones (rumoured).

White women are also affected - Snow White is now brown. Let that sink in.

It’s extremely rare to find adverts now where couples aren’t mixed race, despite at least 95% of people marrying and breeding within their own ethnicity.

And that’s before we even start talking about Superman’s new gay son and actors flagellating themselves for playing transsexuals while not being trans 🤦🏻‍♂️

So yeah, don’t try downplaying this fucking insanity by pretending it’s racism/sexism. There are loads of great diverse heroes, and nobody has a problem with writing new ones, just stop fucking with classic characters and shoving this sick political agenda into everything.

What's the strawman? I expressed my opinion. I don't notice a lot of this stuff. I don't care about a lot of this stuff.

When it comes to mixed race couple, I don't care at all. I had a mixed marriage, I'd say at least a 1/3 of my circle are in mixed relationships. I don't care.

I don't care that white men are the villains. We spent so many years with it being the Russians. Then it was the Muslims. Now it's the white man. There will be another boogey man soon enough.

I don't care about superheroes and don't care that superman has a son let alone a gay son.

I honestly don't know how I feel about non trans people playing trans people. I mean it is acting. But I can also see the point of trans people not getting to play trans people. But....then I question if a non trans can't play a trans person, then can a trans person play a cis gendered character? I don't have the answer. It's the same as people with disabilities. Can someone who walks play a person in a wheelchair? I say if they are the best person for the job, yes?

When it comes to changing the race of already existing characters, or historic people. I don't know how I feel. In some cases, to me it doesn't matter. Like with a mermaid. We don't know if mermaids are actually white. They could be green for all I know. I know that Ariel was created by Disney, as she is not really the same character with the same motivations as Andersen's so I don't have an issue with that one. Snow White, on the other hand, most likely will not get my money, because while Disney does own the names of the Dwarves, Snow White is not their character. I ask, Why can't we get new stories?

I like diversity. I didn't call anyone racist who disagrees with me. No where did I say that I'm downplaying anything other than to say that for most of it, I don't care. If there is a black, female, Bond, I won't care because I haven't watched the last 10 Bond movies. Ford wanted Solo to die and that was the only reason he agreed to be in the movie in the first place. The others that you listed were all actors coming to the end of their contracts, and which of them have been replaced already?

In most cases I won’t watch them but if I do then I make sure I don’t pay for them. On occasion I get burned because there wasn’t adequate warning about woke content - such was the case with Scream 5.

Of course I’m making a difference. People can sense something is wrong with movies today - they’re all shit and crammed with forced diversity - but they don’t necessarily know about the political ideology that is driving it all. I articulate it for them, and when they wake up they go on to wake up others.

So nice try attempting to demoralise me but it hasn’t worked, again.

Woke is a very racist cult. Every woke person believes that whites are smarter and supreme over all other races. And they see themselves (white wokes) as "good white people, that see their privilege and want to help those poor opresed POC". They even created new race for non-whites "People fo color". Because they are all the same for them.

Woke people have severe White Savior complex. They see themselves as generous and merciful smart people. So they do charity work by giving POC their leftovers. Like roles in movies, awards. And in return they expect all those POC to pledge their loyalty to them, worship them and vote for Democrats. When POC says: "I’m not oppressed, leave me alone you crazies" then their true colors are shown. They label that POC "idiot who doesnt understand anything" and start attack them. Just see how white wokes treat black republicans. They attack them, call names. Because wokes think that blacks should be grateful to them - white saviors for their charity work.

Everything woke person does - is for their own benefit. They dont care about women, poc, alphabet people. They only pretend they do. See how they were all: "Women power!" then started putting men in womens prison, toilets and sports. Then attack women when they protest that. Woke is a cult of crazy narcissists basically.

At this point I’d be perfectly happy to see Hollywood burn.

What really needs to happen, though, is for smaller independent productions to pop up and make movies that people actually want to see. You don’t even need a big budget.

Brits do. They are even more crazy on the woke things. All those british tv shows are forced to follow diversity quota. And must include non-white characters everywhere. Despite UK being white country. So almost every white woman is now married to poc man in british shows. If she is not then kids are adopted and poc.

They cant even make historically accurate shows about their own history anymore. Because filmakers are not allowed to have whole white cast anymore. Even if its set in 13 century, They would put poc characters in background. And blacks will walk around as dukes or servants or quests. And every character will pretend that its normal and how things were back then. When it werent.
