Bit slow
You can wait months for a reply here, not very active is it?
shareIt's not slow, our posters just sort of think about stuff before responding
Hang in there👍
It's a fraction of imdb's traffic. imdb had 20 years to build an audience.
Pay attention to the timestamps on some of the posts from the imdb days. It's not uncommon to see a gap of years between posts in some threads.
Don't feel bad no one even knows I'm here.

shareCan anyone explain to me what the . is meant to signify
I would ask Kane but he seems to have me on ignore and does the . thing frequently...it's annoying
The . is a way to post a message without saying anything in it.
Because otherwise it won't let you post a message if that space is left blank.
So perhaps that's also a way to let john know that someone knows they're here???
Hmm, seems like a wasted gesture
Kane is a bit odd though
Maybe it could also be a way to save the space so that one can come back to it later on and post a message when one has more time to do so???
And I've also noticed that almost everyone that one has encountered before is a BIT ODD in one way or the other.

'One' lol, you are a hoot😃
Nah though, Kane has hardly anything to add ever but apparently he has amazing lateral muscles, mad Katana skills and he's the best TV salesman in the greater Boston area
He's also into grammar and astrology
Yes' it's all a bit confusing
Did you DOUBLE POST???
That's also been happening to me a lot lately.
And it's also another good way to leave a space that you can come back to again later on and say something in.
The use of 'one' instead of the first person pronoun can also be a good way to defuse a heated up situation and avoid a flame war.
Instead of saying "I think what you said sucks", for instance, you can say "One suspects what's been said is not so," which sometimes also tends to make the remark a much less personal a front.
😉
I did double post
My 3 year old Iphone seems to be dying on me and as a cheap bastard I'm a bit pissed off at the cost of a replacement lol
I'm gonna ride it 'til the wheels fall off😁
Sorry to hear about the phone wearing out on you, but can't blame you for wanting to "ride it 'til the wheels fall off" of it.
😄😁😃
What's the . Mean
shareIt means someone I have on ignore has posted on a topic I want to follow, which makes every post after the Ignored One’s invisible to me. When I leave a post behind, it makes all other posts after mine visible to me, until another ass hat shows up. I use a period to be as unobtrusive as possible. FYI, my name is R_Kane and that is how people address me. It’s all 1 word.
shareAre you saying that you can't see what I said about the reason why I thought you used the PERIOD???
I thought it was just the post of the ignored person who gets ignored???
Maybe you're on ignore haha.
shareLet’s see if the R_Kane dot shows up.
shareYes, maybe so ...
Has anyone tried using the DOT to see if it works the way they say it does???
Never saw a board that also ignores what others say back to the poster on ignore before!!!
Or are they saying that the DOT indicates to them not to read anything else that's been posted back to the person that they have on ignore??
But that also doesn't seem to make sense either according to what they said:
It means someone I have on ignore has posted on a topic I want to follow, which makes every post after the Ignored One’s invisible to me. When I leave a post behind, it makes all other posts after mine visible to me
So is this a case of the post ACTUALLY being INVISIBLE to them, or just a case of them PRETENDING that's the case???
I will call you Archie henceforth you crybaby
.
Still slow isnt it? Jeezzz
