They like fresh brains and human flesh; their fellow zombies are rotten and falling apart, which apparently doesn't taste as good, according to the lore.

"the plot demands it"
"cos the scriptwriter said so"
just lazy writing , but in this case,
well , because zombie movies couldnt be "a thing" if whenever two zombies are in the the same place they started eating each other.

shareI remember when they said that. But I do wonder how zombie know to go for regular people when they are far out of smelling range. Or how they know the difference between a zombie saying "AARRG" or a normal person saying "HEY". But somehow they do.
