If someone starts off their apology with "If you feel or think that I did anything wrong......""
Then that means they're not sorry, correct? A non-genuine apology?

shareRemember that phrase "Sorry, not sorry?" Just take off the first "sorry," and you'll get what the message really says.
shareI hate that moronic phrase. It’s right up there with “whatever” in terms of popularity with the linguistically challenged.
shareMy dad used to say "'So?' is the last refuge of the imbecile." These days, I'd say it's "'Racist' is the last refuge of the imbecile."
shareThere is no limit to “last refuges” for imbeciles, because there is no limit to human stupidity, but there are severe limits to human genius. “There are only two things in Creation that are infinite: the universe, and human stupidity” - Albert Einstein
shareHehehe, my dad told me a phrase that totally applies to human nature, but I don't know who said it:
"The only thing worse than stupidity is aggressive stupidity."
Hah, that's a perfect summation for the crass poster who confronted me at the beginning of this thread.
shareIf I have offended you in any way I assure you it was your fault😬
shareNope, just more of your distorted, face-saving spiel. You're not going to make me responsible for your choices and that despicable aspect of your nature that you possessed before you ever arrived here.
share"If you feel or think that I did anything wrong......you'd be right."
shareCorrect. Whenever someone won't acknowledge that they've done the wrong thing, they're not apologizing. Acknowledging that one's actions have hurt someone is not the same as actually calling those actions wrong. In a way, it's like saying the person owed the apology is wrong for being hurt by those actions.
