Using a towel as a bath mat

Yay or nay?

reply

Prefer not to but I will if there aren't other options available.

reply

I've stayed with people who get really upset if you do that. Not sure why. The towels have to be washed anyway.πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

reply

If they don't have anything else to put on the floor what else are you supposed to do? The only reason I prefer not to is because I use bathmats that have a backing so I don't slip.

reply

Use toilet paper? It makes no sense!

Absolutely!

reply

Yay

reply

Yeah that is my towel cycle: hand towel β€”> shower towel β€”> foot towel β€”> laundry.

I use hot water and bleach so the towels are well cleaned.

reply

But then you’re rubbing bleach residue all over your skin.

reply

Rinse cycle dilutes, dryer evaporates. My skin is healthy so no sides effects.

reply

did the guy kick you out or something?

reply

Yeah, it was a real blood bath...

reply

No. Must use a bath mat with a whale on it.

reply

LOL

I haven't seen it, the link didn't work anymore!

It works, but you have to wait a few seconds for it to load https://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/88855?page=wool-hooked-rug-white-whale-2x4

OR, if you please https://www.google.com/search?q=whale%20bath%20mat

reply

The first link still says "no exact match found".

There are so many whale bath mats out there! Which one is it???

OR GIANT SIZE! https://www.bellacoastaldecor.com/white-whale-hooked-wool-runner.html

reply

Woah, that's hideous!😳

reply

That's the consensus, but I don't mind it, I may even like it a little. I can see it being used as part of a rustic, folk art motif.

reply

I'm not a fan of folk art, to be honest.

reply

Yay, they work just fine and are much easier to keep clean.

reply

i do this in motels

reply

Me too.
