The Hunger
Se7en
Blade Runner
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Chinatown
The Matrix
Punch-Drunk Love
Fight Club

The Fall

The Fall is exquisitely beautiful.

The Enchanted April.

While I'm not a fan overall of Citizen Kane, it is beautiful.

reply

Love Suspiria, the lighting was crazy
Se7en did have fantastic atmosphere, similar to Blade Runner

Good list

I liked The Shining very much for the opening aerial shots and vast yet claustrophobic interior shots

The Wizard Of Oz is still awe inspiring nearly 80 years later

I'm sure we can think of many more

Some runner-ups that almost made my list include Russian Ark, Saving Private Ryan, Watchmen, The Godfather: Part II, and The NeverEnding Story.
