What do you believe to be the worst film of all time? and Why?

???

reply

Um.....that's kind of debatable. Everyone has their own idea what the worst film of all time was. Even the Razzies aren't right all the time.

reply

Manos: The Hands of Fate. It is terrible in every regard.

reply

It is quite awful.

reply

Torgo was great but that's about it.

reply

He’s the only one who was interesting at all.

reply

It's tragic what happened to the actor in real life. Apparently, he was high during the shooting of the film. Probably why he did a good job, lol.

reply

Same story in Troll 2. Best actor was on drugs and died. I wonder what other movies have this same behind the scenes scenario. 🤔

reply

Mediocre movies piss me off more than bad ones.

reply

Birdemic might be the worst I've seen personally. Besides the script, story, dialogue and acting, the technical aspects of the movie are absolutely awful as well. The Room looks like a masterpiece next to that one.

reply

That would be my pick as well. Actually, maybe Birdemic 2.

reply

The Birdemic movies were made that way on purpose though. They tried for the so bad it’s good appeal. Isn’t that right?

reply

I thought so.

reply

No, definitely not the first one.

reply

Hmm...🤔
Maybe Eraserhead.
Do I really have to say why?

reply

That is not the worst movie of all time. Bizarre, yes, but too well crafted to be the worst.

reply

The film has a large fan base and not because it’s bad.

REPORTED

reply

👍👍😄

Reported for what?

reply

Is it weird that I can't think of one? I'm trying to think of the worst film I've ever seen, let alone of all time, and am still coming up with nothing. The Eiger Sanction was terrible, but I'm sure there are worse.

reply

No, it's not weird, because most people don't bother wasting their time remembering a really bad movie. I've seen tons of bad movies, and I can't remember any offhand for this very reason.

reply

Bingo. ^This and Catbookss.

Kind of like a topic on Most Humiliating Moment of Your Life, or Your Worst Proctology Exam, or Dumbest Topic You’ve Ever Seen, or Your Most Painful Divorce. Memories aren’t made of these.

reply

THE PROBLEM IS THE WORSE THE FILM,THE SMALLER NUMBER OF US THAT WOULD HAVE HEARD OF IT,LET ALONE SEEN IT.PEOPLE HAVE A HABIT OF LISTING A FILM THEY PERSONALLY DISLIKED,BUT ITS RARELY EVEN CLOSE TO A TRUELY TERRIBLE FILM.

reply

I'm only including movies that got some kind of release in theaters or on video, so made in the backyard movies are out.

I might go with the movies Coleman Francis made back in the fifties. Boring, inept in every way, and made with seemingly complete apathy that comes through in every frame.
