Is Christmas the best or worst holiday?

I think it's the worst. I don't really enjoy it anymore. I much prefer 4th of July, no pressure, music and hot dogs on the grill.

I've had a few rough Christmas seasons but not for a few years now.

I enjoy decorating the house, the Christmas-related movies and songs.

Any time with family the extended family is fine by me
I prefer Halloween above all others though

No, the worst holidays are the non-holidays, the ones that almost nobody recognizes or does anything fun with, like Arbor Day, or Grandparents' Day, or some of those other obscure, useless "holidays."

Christmas is fun and has so much you can do compared to the other holidays.

I hated Christmas growing up, and even now Halloween is my favourite day of the year, but over time I've made Christmas to be what I want it to be, and I surround myself with those I want to be with. We don't really do gifts aside from funny socks and a regift exchange where nothing new can be bought and my dinners are what we feel like that year and what we can have fun making together.

It's a fake holiday and Christianity as religion

Up to the age of 10, not nice - after that a bit better.
From age 17 onwards I would travel in December, so Christmas was unimportant to me.
Now I have a little girl, I'm starting to rediscover the magic that I may have lost.

The greatness of the Christmas Holidays is an inverse function of your own or your childrens' ages.
Christmas is awful these days ... it is pure commercialism, it starts way too early, and it goes nowhere. There are no new Christmas songs, no new takes on Christmas, it is based on a religion at a time when religion is at an all-time low, and since it is based on the Christian religion non-Christians and non-religious people find it annoying.

The problem with Christmas is all that, plus it is an end of the year thing too closed to New Years,
and even Thanksgiving for that matter. Too many holidays ... especially if you have no local family, romantic partner or have to work a lot.
