I recently saw Let the Right One In (2008) for the first time and no doubt about it, I will watch it again soon. I agree about the swimming pool scene, perfect ending!
I hadn't seen Fright Night (1985) for a long time and seeing it again last week, it's still wonderfully camp and fun, especially Evil Ed.
Martin (1978) was good and I've seen Lost Boys (1987) several times. Dracula (1931) has so many classic scenes. I haven't scene the Blade films or Interview for quite a few years.

I used to collect stamps when I was younger but (like everything I do) eventually took it as far as I could; gave it to someone's son who wanted to get into collecting.

I saw quite a few films by Fulci during one phase of my life, and a few by Argento, also.
I recently saw Cat O' Nine Tails (1971) with James Franciscus and Karl Malden, in Italian/English titles. Good to see after a very long time.
Without a doubt, 2011 was the worst year of my life - my first wife of over 20 years died suddenly from diabetic ketoacidosis, on my birthday. I had been chronically sleep-deprived for almost 9 years when she passed and I absolutely fell to pieces; it didn't break my heart, it shattered it. It was almost 4 years before I felt myself coming back to life.
I'm grateful to say 2019 has been a very good year for me. A few years ago, my doctor prescribed a medication to help with the sleep deprivation and I take that with a few OTCs, a combination that has helped me get very good sleep almost every night. I changed churches in 2016 and met my current wife, Sandy. We just celebrated our 2 year anniversary. I work out every morning, 6 days a week. I've been working part-time from home for over 2 years for a great boss, who lets me pick my own hours. I have a lot to be grateful for.

No subtitles at movies is one of several reasons I don't go to the theaters anymore. I've always had a problem following dialogue, especially if they're mumbling and the other sounds are much louder when they come in.
Since I follow the captions/subtitles a lot, I've gotten used to getting the gist of what's going on in a scene, then following the words and listening to the actors for their vocal inflections, so I get what they're expressing. Coupled with watching movies again and again; I pick up more of what a character is doing from repeated viewings.
Probably a lot of countries; I don't let English subtitles keep me from enjoying foreign films but I mostly stick with American-made ones.
I have no problem with watching movies with English subtitles; I've some interesting films from Japan, Sweden, Korea and France that way.
