What do you suppose internet trolls do after a hard days trolling?

Visit art galleries?
Help old ladies across the road?
Volunteer at soup kitchens?
Or?
Sit in their basements, dreaming of world domination, whilst buying a James Bond villainesque style island and building a death ray? (If only I had a white cat).

All suggestions welcome - let your imaginations run wild.

I miss Croft😥

reply

I never got attached, he's too slimy.

reply

I took his humor a different way I suppose...I often found him hilarious and was happy to know him
I sometimes read that shithole FB website just to check out his posts lol
It's 99% garbage and 1% Croft...I miss that dude!
To each their own Amigo👍

reply

Oh I never said I didn't appreciate him for what he was. He made me laugh too but maybe you knew him on a different angle.

reply

I always enjoyed his attempts at comedy and his 'lousy at English shtick' was really funny...I genuinely miss him!
One of a kind...I wish the Mods could make an exception:(

reply

I don'T even know what happened. I thought he just decided to leave.

reply

Croft made up an unfortunte story about killing a mean
dog in his barnyard with an axe...Some of us took it as a failed attempt at humor but many others did not...quite a few posters got really pissed!

I always loved Croft's humor...perhaps he went too far with this story...but I don't believe he deserves a lifetime ban

reply

What?! About that dog thing?! Dude, I LOVE dogs and had them all my life but I mean, seriously?

He did worst IMO.

reply

I like dogs quite a bit too Stone👍

A failed attempt at humor is not a reason to ban a good poster though

reply

But, he did kill his dog with an axe. He did it, told about it, then when the 💩 hit the fan he tried to lie his way out of it. The Mods wouldn’t have banned him for a made up yarn, even if it was disgusting.

reply

I never believed a word of it
I took it as a really bad attempt at yarn telling

I'm pretty certain the little fellow couldn't even harm himself, let alone a ferocious barnyard dog

reply

They troll themselves.

Thank you for that reference, NS. It’s gratifying to have my suspicions confirmed. Given that sadism and narcissism are personality traits, and psychopathology is an ingrained personality pathology, it probably would not be possible for a troll to stop being a troll just by deciding to stop. The troll would need the help of psychotherapy really to change her/his trolling ways. It may even be possible that trolling is addictive, and the troll could not really bring him/herself to stay off the internet. Perhaps someone should start Trolls Anonymous.

You may have missed the following article from Time magazine. I’ve posted it in the past, but I realize we get new folks on this board.

Titled: “How Trolls Are Ruining the Internet”

reply

I'd prefer not to think about it. *cringes*

reply

The good news is that you actually think, unlike trolls, who predate.

reply

internet purgatory

reply

Ironically, no trolls attempted to troll this thread.

reply

Actually, a cloaked troll posted here. Remember: trolls cannot reform absent psychotherapy. They can’t reform on their own.

reply

who dat ??

Make odd posts about Jesus, Hitler...or both. 👺

* Wonder why all the forums are closing because the genuine members can't be bothered anymore due to the trolls.

* Applying to be moderators so they can ban genuine members for telling trolls to get fucked.

* Learning how to be SJW's so they can troll whilst remaining PC. IE Calling people PC approved insults to get the reactions they crave.
