From the IMDB Ashes...

Hey all! The Dteam has landed--I repeat...the Dteam has landed. ;)

I was a member of IMDB for 11 years and it's great to see this site! Best IMDB clone yet!

PS: Several IMDB zombies are about to be resurrected along with me. Good to be here! I think I recognize some of you!

reply

Not yet...but soon, maybe...soon. 😅

reply

soon... plans within plans...

reply

You can. But it's a pain in the butt!! Requires endless copying and pasting etc...

Here is a picture of the code. Write it on a piece of paper exactly how you see it. Then paste your link in between the quotation marks and then put the page name (or whatever name you want your link to be called) between the brackets. See the red arrows? The first red arrow is where you insert your link. The second red arrow is where you type the page name (or just paste the link there too as well if you don't want to put a page name).

Movie Chat Code Picture

IMPORTANT: Be sure that the ONLY SPACE is between the a and the href. There can't be any other spaces at all. EDIT: Except for the page name. You can have spaces between those words. 😝😂

It's a pain in the butt. But that's all we have to work with right now. 😕

Hello!

Hi Dteam and hello guys!
I am one of the aformentioned zombies! You have a fine site here and I hope we will have a great time talking and picking each other's brainsss (sorry, it is a zombie thing :-) about movies.

reply

Braaaaaains.

reply

HI!!!!!!! Someone stole my underscore.

reply

Welcome! Soon we'll get avatars, I hear, which would be great. :)

reply

DTEEEEEAM???? Why can't I "save to homescreen" on my mobile? :( First site I can't do that with. Don't say "save bookmark". Bookmarks are so 90s. SAVE TO HOMESCREEN IS DA SCHIZZNIZZLE.

reply

Hmmmm...not sure, Cat. I don't use mobile for these forums so I know next to nothing about it, LOL!

reply

Easy fix, save another webpage and then go to the bookmark (that's what it's called!) options and change the URL to https://moviechat.org/. You should change its name while you're at it :-)

reply

OOOOHHHHH...sneaky! I like you!

reply

But it didn't work. :( As soon as I change the name it goes to this forum page and when I save, it saves as a bookmark. I want a little buttin on my phone's homescreen I can just hit to bring the page up. Like an app but it's just a saved page. Getting here is a pain in the ass. 😅

reply

I feel like there should be a simple solution but without your phone in front of me... :-/
Bring it to your most tech-savvy friend, they'll find a solution.

reply

I think the answer will be rolled eyeballs and a "just use the fucking bookmark button, cat...jesus!" 😅

reply

Use the "pretty please..? *-*" trick. Works all the time!

reply

*takes notes* "do it or I'll hurt you isn't a great motivator"... Got it!

reply

[laugh]

I like you already!

reply

Why thank you!

reply

For me (using iPhone), it used to make those automatically if I went to a site enough times. Then I shifted to Private Browsing because it started annoying me. 😅

reply

Sounds like I made the right decision choosing Android way back when. 😅

reply

Cat, what browser are you using? What android version? If you are using Dolphin it is quite easy.

reply

I think IE for Samsung. I know...".....OUT!!!"😅
