The American House has passed a bill whereby all men aged 18-26 are automatically enlisted to the US military draft.

Now young Americans may have no choice but to serve the most prestigious military in the World that demands you respect whether you agree with someone’s pronouns or not.

reply

That draft should be for the sons of the fathers who voted for Biden and those who voted for Biden.

The Democrat behind this bill is the same person that said "No one is above the law" after Trump’s guilty verdict.

She said the 34 unanimous guilty convictions by 12 jurors underscore the integrity and fairness of our judicial system.

- She supported mask and vaccine mandates

- She supported Roe vs Wade

- She supported the Jan 6th Fedsurrection case

The House is dominated by Republicans. Your favorite political party is screwing you.

reply

They are not my party; they are "the UniPartY", your party. I’m for Trump’s party (MAGA).

BTW; I noticed that you conveniently missed the part where I specifically mentioned “the Democrat” behind that draft bill.

For YOU: https://www.readingskills4today.com/

reply

Trump is the head of the Republican Party which drafted and passed the bill.

You need to exit your self-imposed bubble and deal with reality!

reply

Once again, Trump is not the UniPartY.

reply

"RNC votes to install Donald Trump’s handpicked chair as former president tightens control of party. Lara Trump, the former president’s daughter-in-law, was voted in as co-chair."

"With Trump’s blessing, LaCivita is promising to enact sweeping changes and staffing moves at every level of the RNC to ensure it runs seamlessly as an extension of the Trump campaign."

Republican presidential candidate = Trump

You have a dilemma. You hate the Republican Party while your cult leader Trump heads it and is their choice for president.

reply

There is no draft genius! Hasn't been one for like 50 years!

The only way the draft is coming back is if the shit hits the fan so bad, that WWIII is basically upon us and it's all hands on deck or learn to speak russian or Mandarin!

reply

That "draft bill" can be used to enlist for Ukraine/Russia, or any other conflict they want.

reply

Good!! Gen Z could use some growing up and the Military is good experience for this.. Oh, and when you go to Bootcamp, you won't have your Smartphone Devices with you and if the Drill Instructors do their job right, you'll be called every name in the book and broken down to 0 and rebuilt back up

reply

Wokeness has spread to the military. So you're going to be forced to celebrate pride and use the "proper" pronouns. You'll be forced to accept abnormal people who should not be accepted. That is not a military in which I could serve. If it's a choice between Russia and Rainbow U.S., I think I will defect to Russia. In Russia queers know their place.

reply

Let's now remake the movie "FULL METAL JACKET" with Lee Ermey using Proper Pronouns for his hour long dialogue with Pyle..

reply

Yikes! Being stuck in boot camp with a woke military drill sergeant, sounds like a nightmare. In that scenario I think we should follow the example of Private Pyle. I think he had the right idea.

reply

We didn't have a choice before.

This bill is sexist, why does it not include women? We are equal right.....RIGHT???

reply

The House is dominated by Republicans. Ask your favorite political party who passed the bill.

reply

Then by that logic democrats should have blocked it....right? For equality.

But they didn't.

reply

211 Republicans voted FOR the bill!
196 Democrats voted AGAINST the bill!

Not enough Democrats to block anything. VOTE BLUE IN NOVEMBER!!!!

I told you that your political party screws you over!!!!

reply

But he's not for either of those parties.

You insist on conflating everyone and everything with the "UniPartY", that's your party.

reply

Trump is the presidential nominee of the Republican party.
Trump is the leader of the Republican Party.
Johnson and other Congress members are MAGA Republicans and follow his orders.
Trump had his daughter-in-law appointed as the cochair of the Republcan Party.

You are a MAGA Republican. You're being disloyal to your cult leader by denying his party. You sound like Judas! Do it one more time and you will be.

reply

You insist on referencing the UniPartY.

Trump is Not the UniPartY.

reply

Trump Republican acolytes screwed you!

reply

The UniPartY screwed everyone, including you.

reply

211 Republicans voted FOR the bill!
196 Democrats voted AGAINST the bill!

That sems like half the story
How many Reps against?
How many Dems for ?

reply

Irrelevant. There are always a few stragglers whose votes are too miniscule to make a difference either way. Republican Bill passed by Republicans including Trump acolytes!

reply

You are evidently unaware of how the American legal system creates laws. You also don't understand basic English words, like "enlist".

A bill being passed by the House of Representatives does not become law until it is also passed by the Senate and signed by the President.

And it doesn't call for automatic enlistment - it calls for automaton REGISTRATION fit the draft, something that had been required by law for over 40 years.

reply

Yeah, NO ONE says "the American House."

https://www.sss.gov/history-and-records/

In 1940, prior to U.S. entry into World War II, the first peacetime draft in our nation’s history was enacted in response to increased world tension and the system was able to fill wartime manpower needs smoothly and rapidly after the attack on Pearl Harbor. At the end of the war, the draft law was allowed to expire, but it was reenacted less than two years later to maintain necessary military manpower levels as a result of the Cold War.

From 1948 until 1973, during both peacetime and periods of conflict, men were drafted to fill vacancies in the armed forces which could not be filled through voluntary means. Induction authority expired in 1973, but the Selective Service System remained in existence in “standby” to support the all-volunteer force in case of an emergency. Registration was suspended early in 1975 and the Selective Service System entered into “deep standby”.

Beginning in late 1979, a series of “revitalization” efforts were begun in an effort to upgrade the System’s capability for rapid mobilization in an emergency. In the summer of 1980, registration was resumed. Presently, young men must register within 30 days of their 18th birthday.

reply

Where are you from?

reply

I think you are misusing the word "enlisted" here. To me it sounds like you are just getting signed up for the draft automatically but it doesn't mean you are enlisted in the military.

reply

Trust me. This is the beginning. Soon, the bill will be updated to force ALL of these young guys to go into combat.

I also just read that there is some potential support for this from both sides. The government in general wants to put everyone into a combat zone.

reply

Overwhelmingly rejected by Democrats. This is a Republican Bill passed by Republicans.

reply

I was simply saying that there appears to be SOME Democrat support, not all.
