To be fair, this simplifies registering. Failing to register for the draft or join the military as directed is a felony punishable by a fine of up to $250,000 or a prison term of up to five years, or a combination of both. A felony conviction means you lose your right to vote and the right to own, possess and use a firearm, among other things.

Rich people of course will get deferred or exemption probably. The rich choose the wars and the poor fight it. It also proves you're no better than those Ukrainians that fled their country to avoid the draft. Those that run away shouldn't get any benefits once they return. You don't see Russians complaining when Putin calls them up.

Covid didn't kill enough people, so now we need WWIII. Climate change, overpopulation and pollution are the real enemies.
