Like there are no fake negative reviews...and that shit started before people had even seen the movie. So like 5, maybe 10 people agree with you...and you consider that a consensus? And if we just want to watch an entertaining superhero movie, without feeling the need to pander to this empowerment nonsense, regardless of gender...? Also, if people want to watch the other movie as well then they surely will...it's actually possible watch both. Curious as to why you would insist that people have to choose one or the other...bizarre. Here in the UK back in the Seventies he was very unfairly referred to as a poor man's Springsteen. And his biggest hit over here was We've Got Tonight, which as you know is just one facet of his talent. The man can seriously rock. Hell...I even have a soft spot for Shakedown... To be honest you just come across as confused... So you don't believe in people making up their own minds then...apparently we should listen to you. Why? So...we are not allowed to voice our own personal preference and decide we like someone even though they are flawed, they have made errors, commited crimes etc? Who the hell decided it is OK or not OK to like certain people?, Where are people getting this rubbish from? I think a lot of this depends on your earliest viewing of Bond movies when You were young, and the perception that stays with you in later life. What I mean is, my first ever Bond movie experience as a kid in a cinema was Live And Let Die. I was aware of Connerys movies but had not seen any of them. Therefore my abiding memory is of how totally awesome LALD was to a young kid. The history of Connerys involvement, problems and disagreements were meaningless to me. And to this day that movie still holds a place in my memory, despite its flaws. Wow.. we're you actually asleep when you watched The movie? Jerry didn't invite him...it was another one of Ruperts fantasies. Totally agree. It was a very nuanced performance and showed he was capable of nore than just comedy. He could have gone on to be a very good straight actor. I still find that movie entertaining to watch multiple times, more so once you know the story as you pick up on more little subtle hints from his performance each time. You're thinking of Vera, a UK TV series with Brenda Blethyn as a detective. No...I am a sucker for unrequited love stories and I think this is one of the best. The Biggus Dickus scene from Life Of Brian. I find it impossible not to laugh at, and even the cast were struggling to keep a straight face , especially Michael Palin. As someone who lives in the UK, this class conscious obsession is a fallacy. It may have been true to an extent up until the 80's, but beyond that it largely died off. Its been perpetuated in films and TV for years, but it really only rears its head among the upper class and people with money. For the vast majority of people in the UK it means absolutely nothing. Granted there are the have and the have nots, people on low incomes on council estates and those who live in large houses with good jobs...but it is what it is...we don't obsess over it or constantly draw attention to it. A scene in Nicolas Roeg's Euruka. When Gene Hackmans character is killed in his bed. It really freaked me out when I saw it. He is hacked with a machete, beaten, burnt and feathered. Its a very medieval style of killing, in that the body is continually mutilated even after death. That really freaked me.out when I first saw it. Nothing to do with need. If you think of it in those terms, no film needs to be made. They are made because, well, they can and no one can stop them. Thomas Wayne is a Presidential candidate...? Exactly where are you getting these plot details from? Got any links? I have seen Taxi Driver, and would still llike you to explain why it is a rip off. I have seen 5 year olds write better than that. Get yourself an education son. I fully agree. If I give my opinion of a movie online, I never give it a number rating, I just don't believe in it. I will only ever give my thoughts and my opinion, thats it. I never recommend or dissuade. I never get why people seem to think it's their job to tell or not tell people to watch a movie. That's not how it's supposed to work. And I am also astonished at people who go online and ask strangers if a movie is good or bad. All you will get is people's opinions. If you fancy it, go watch it. It's not for others to tell you whether you should or not. However, you can choose to take note of others opinions or not.
