Bob Seger is very underrated... Hardly no one knows him in Europe, either.

that's just wrong.

I don't think they even had a chance, but he had a lot of great songs that were also hits.. Maybe they were turned off his by his husky voice?

He had a lot of good songs...
and here in the states he was very popular in the 70's and 80's...and then kind of slid off the radar like so many do.

I grew up listening to a lot of Rockin' Bob. Ramblin' Gamblin' Man and Heavy Music were early classics. I'm glad he hit pay dirt in the 70s, even if it seemed a little commercial. I couldn't stand the repetition in Against The Wind, but that was about his last hurrah.

Here in the UK back in the Seventies he was very unfairly referred to as a poor man's Springsteen.

And his biggest hit over here was We've Got Tonight, which as you know is just one facet of his talent. The man can seriously rock.

Hell...I even have a soft spot for Shakedown...
