Where is this heading?

I found it a fun enough show to watch, but it's hard to see where it is heading. It reminds me of Under the Dome, where every episode has some random unexplained twist that goes nowhere. I feel like it will get canceled before anything gets explained.

Also, now that Fatima is engaged, does that mean she needs to stop sleeping with random people on the side?

reply

Maybe the writers themselves don't know where it's going.

reply

That's the feeling I get.

I am beginning to wonder whether people will start to realize that this is the very point they are trying to make. They haven't done this only once.

reply

I'm enjoying it, but it is a little slow and I am worried that wherever it's heading will be disappointing.

Its looks like its heading to stereotypical direction of every such show. Writers got no clue how to finish story and there was never a plan. Plan was to get picked up for second season and then make up new mysteries every episode to have something to shoot. Then it will be cancelled on cliffhanger when ratings will be bad and nothing will be ever resolved.

Hollywood really needs to starts making 2-3 seasons tv shows and publicly announce it. Otherwise people will not start watching it because what sense?

I saw it heading that usual direction last season but its small nice mystery show so I started watching second season. But its very obvious its heading to that and they just make up stuff as they go. So I will probably not return if they will have season 3.

Its only 10 episodes and they dont have material even for that. We have 90% of episodes with boring talking between charisma free characters. And they all look so alike and forgettable that I keep confusing who is who.

Agreed. So much boring talk between characters. They don't know what's going on, so the writers have them shouting out random fan theories.

And the other 10% is dream sequences that add up to nothing more than cheap jump scares.
The ballerina sequence seemed intriquing, but nope.
The ghost children who lured that women to the cave???
The guy in the bath tub with the ghost standing over him???

reply

To sum it up, it is getting "Lost" :)

reply

Actually I'm still liking it overall. It's not perfect but it's intriguing enough to retain my interest. Few shows these days do that.

Hopefully all the negativity won't get it cancelled.

reply

It will be fine as long as it does go walking dead

After season 2, the show seems to be heading the route of how Tabitha, who got out, gets back to her family
