First, prove yourself right.

I agree, he tried a bunch of fancy mods.

Minced beef with seasoning, a few onions and American cheese, that was pretty much it? No condiments if I remember. It did boggle my mind that chef had a plain sesame bun on hand, this was the only thing about the film I found hard to believe.

reply

Yes i thought that too, why would a restaurant such as his have a sesame seed bun and also crinkle cut chips?

I know he said that they have everything there but for such a high class chef i cant see why he would have those to hand, unless it because that's how he started out and every now and then wanted to have one himself?

reply

I assumed it was because the staff all lived there, so they must eat there too... So obviously they needed some "normal" food to eat that's not meant for the guests.

Was it an Impossible Burger? If not, I ain't watching cuz even if it is fiction, we shouldn't joke about the suffering that cows endure on their journey to provide us with Big Macs and Whoppers.

reply

I agree, it was a double cheeseburger which she did not ask for. He also put fried onions on it.

reply

Whatever it was, it looked delicious!

Anya Taylor-Joy is a vegan. This came to mind when she said she wasn't hungry and didn't want to eat it then and there.

Did she take an actual bite of the burger at any point or merely mimic it? It was never clear really, she sort of nibbled the edges. Didn't take a big chunk of the thing.

I'm wondering if she took a bite as it's her job even if it's against her beliefs or if they gave her some phony vegan burger to bite or as stated she didn't even eat any of it.
