From Yahoo “Thank God I found someone! I’m trying to get back to my home! I’m lost! I’ve been walking for a while! I need to use your phone! You’re the first person I’ve seen all day! We have to get out of here! I just saw a plane that was spraying red gas in the vicinity. I saw some deer, more than 50. They were coming out of the woods. Please! I need to go home, sir. A military plane appeared and fled. There’s no one around! Is it a chemical attack?” That is what happens when you sit behind a desk. You forget things, like the weight in the hand of a gun that's loaded and one that's not. They were married in the past and now separated, not divorced due to cost. I learnt this from watching the show. I thought the plot was straight forward. Then backward. Then both at the same time. Don't worry, you are a long way behind the director, screen writers, actors and sfx team for that. Of course it's a joke - it's to say he's had such a hard life he looks a lot older. There was a great write up about the actor Mark Acheson and his experience on the Elf set recently. Basically his one line role was expanded as it was last day of filming and they were trying to cram as many ad-lib jokes as possible in. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12881907/elf-scene-cut-christmas-movie-ferrell.html# I might watch The Hard (that's what Die Hard is known as in Germany} with my son whole never seem it. It is a thing in the UK, but you have to live in a nice neighbourhood. Needless to say I've not seen them at my house but at friends. They belt out maybe one verse, only seen a handful of singers not a big group. Reminds me of O Lucky Man! (1973) which also had a protagonist experience a series of improbable events, films like this come along every 50 years or so. I agree headlines focus on the verbal abuse but there were many more charges some mentioned in this uk article; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12844305/edward-mathews-new-jersey-racist-prison.html Already been in jail 2.5 years another 1.5 may qualify for parole.
